The DR770X along with the CM100G LTE module make up the best Dashcam solution available for those who need cloud access for remote viewing and real-time impact & motion alerts - there is no better Parking Mode available from any manufacturer at any price. The cameras are relatively compact and the DVR/main unit stows away somewhere remote and secure, everything feels very well made. 3-wire hardwire kit was included which was nice to see (allows for parking mode out of the box) though we’re using an OBD2 port adapter that provides 12v+/ign/ground connections with no hassle. The 3x 1080p camera + LTE configuration uses about 180wh per day in motion-detection parking mode if left alone which is what we do for days at a time with no issues (600ma~ @12.8v~), please note this is installed in an electric car with essentially unlimited 12v+ accessory power while parked or “off”. Night vision is very good due to Sony Starvis sensors and the front camera’s selectable 60fps frame rate allows for much clearer video of license plates on passing vehicles/etc.The peace of mind provided by having the ability to check on the car from anywhere is great for those that park & charge (EV) in public areas and garages. The remote/real-time alert capabilities also justify the price in our opinion. We will update as time goes on but so far we’re very satisfied with this setup even if it was about $750 all in. It’s worth it!

I bought this dashcam almost a year ago with the extra battery and LTE module antenna but it still does not work. The antenna was missing parts and dashcam would not con to iPhone for more than 10 seconds. I would suggest choosing a different manufacturer because this company does not seem to care about support after the sale.

I spent a while researching my different options because I wanted a 3-channel system with cloud connectivity. The DR770X Box is one of very few options that offers both of these options, and I was particularly drawn to the concept of an external recording box as opposed to other options that contain all the hardware in the camera itself.Overall, I'm satisfied with this product. While wiring in the vehicle took a little bit extra finagling in order to fit the box in my glove compartment, I'm pleased with the results. Setup took a little bit between positioning everything, getting the unit connected to my wi-fi hotspot, and using the app to set things up correctly. One setting you will almost definitely need to change is the impact sensitivity if you live in an area with rough roads. I was getting impact alerts almost constantly as I drove around town, which I attribute to the terrible roads in Colorado.The camera units themselves are very small, so they're easier to tuck away and don't impair visibility as much as other, bulkier units. Recording quality is decent, if not great, and I wish that at least the front-facing camera would have been higher resolution to help capture details such as license plate numbers better.I wish the LTE module had built in to the unit, as it would have made life a lot easier. It doesn't appear that this unit can accept both the GPS module (included) and the Blackvue external LTE module (sold separately) because the box only has a single micro-USB port. As it stands, I've created a setup which includes juggling a wifi hotspot with external batteries to ensure constant uptime. I've also run into a couple instances of the camera randomly disconnecting from cloud services despite the wifi hotspot being up and running. The GPS is discrete and has pretty accurate tracking. It operates independently of your cloud connection, so even if your camera gets disconnected from your hotspot you'll be able to track your vehicle.I've seen a lot of complaints about the app functioning poorly, but I have yet to encounter major problems with it. The only issue I can say I've encountered is that it will occasionally ask me to sign back into my account because my account is signed in elsewhere despite my phone being the only device with the app on it. It seems that Blackvue has been pretty responsive in patching bugs in the app, so I'm sure this will be addressed in the near future.In the end, this is a great, if imperfect, solution if you're looking for something that adds the additional peace of mind that comes with a cloud-connected camera. Living in an area with a high volume of car thefts, this system has done exactly that, even if I still use other theft deterrents with my vehicle.If Blackvue were able to solve the issues with having a built-in LTE module and increasing the resolution of the cameras, this would easily be a 5-star review. However, since this is such a new addition to their line-up, my guess is that it will be quite some time until they release an updated product with these features.

I love this camera set-up! Having the recording unit and memory card separate from the cameras makes for a perfect security option - if someone was to brake in to steal something (even the cameras) it is all recorded and recoverable from the hidden recorder box vs. having subscription for real time recording or recovering videos. Picture quality looks great for all cams, they do exactly what is needed. I am completely satisfied with this item!

So far it’s been really good. Installation took awhile, but we’ll worth the security provided. Each camera is secured from movement or from unplugging. The main box is secured from tampering too. Happy with BlackVue.
