HP claims in their literature that if your printer cartridge doesn't move to the center when the lid is raised to access the tank ink, you don't need a new printer head. Well, I wasn't getting red colors with my HP 7301, so begged to differ. Sure enough, this product worked flawlessly and I highly recommend it. It's a small investment compared to a new printer.

I have stayed with cartridge printers after 2 bad experiences with the new “forever ink” printers. This cartridge will go for 15,000 copies and not cause ink blockages, printer head issues Etc

Do not waste your money on this item... It does not work, nor will it fix you printer head issues.

I have an HP Smart -Tank 6001 Wireless Printer and because of minimal use, it no longer printed color documents cleanly. I was trying to print greeting cards and they all printed with banding across the card. I tried cleaning the printheads using the suggestions I saw on YouTube. The cost of these printheads was cheaper than buying a new color printer so I decided to try replacing the printheads as a last resort. Between replacing the printheads and changing my print quality to best, I can now print my greeting cards just fine. If you think you may need to replace your existing printheads, try changing your print quality first. If that doesn't work, at least you know that these replacement printheads will indeed fit an HP Smart-Tank 6001. As a side note......make sure you use your inkjet printer on a regular basis, even if it's just printing color test pages. Make yourself calendar reminders or put post-it notes everywhere, if need be. Inkjet printers are made to be used, not to sit idly by. Otherwise, your printheads will clog and around and around you'll go.

Bought this for my HP Smart Tank 7301 printer. The printhead that came with my printer all of a sudden and stopped printing cyan (though yellow and magenta were fine). When I installed this new printhead the printer recognized it and it worked perfectly.

Actually worked

My new (three weeks old) HP 6001 printer shut down and would not print. The flashing icon indicated that the print head was not functioning. I tried many times in various ways to contact HP because the printer was supposed to be under warranty. I finally gave up on the promised warranty because i needed to get important printing done. I purchased this $76 printer head and installed it myself. Printing has been great since. No thanks to the HP warranty.

The media could not be loaded. They work perfectly in my HP 7600. The printer recognize them as genuine and they work better than the original HP printheads.
