Universal Wheelchair footrest Hanger pins,Replacement Hanger Pin,Leg Rest Pin,Wheelchair and Transport Wheelchair Parts Replacements (4 ea)

I just assumed these would fit since they were called "universal". Unfortunately, I didn't pay close enough attention to the picture to notice these pins are meant to fit into a square hole. That is, the underside of the hanger pin has square edges that fit into a square hole and keep the pin in place when tightening the nut from underneath. The problem is my Medline foldable transport chair (with 12-inch wheels) has round holes for the for the foot-rest hanger pins and these won't fit. The square version is obviously a better design, but alas it won't work for our wheelchair. I'm going to try another brand that seem to be made to fit the round hole.

I searched 2 yrs for this replacement part for spouse wheelchair. Easy to assemble and work excellent. So glad I found then!

If you notice on the picture there is a square bolt welded to the peg. Most wheelchairs do not have square holes. Most wheels are ROUND!! If you manage to widen the hole with a drill on the chair to allow for use of this item, the length left is not sufficient to secure the bottom bolt and washer. The metal frame is about 1/4 inch thick and the bottom barely peaks out the bottom, making the bottom nut and washer impossible to attach.I'm still looking for replacement pegs for the foot rests, so if anyone finds them that WORK, please let me know as the chair is useless without the foot rest

A square peg wont fit in a round hole. These are so flawed. Also I wanted to return the 1st set which only had 3 pegs. Someone opened the black package and rebagged it in a clear bag. Now you have sent me another set of the exact same.

It was easy to order, came promptly, worked correctly.
