Canon E6NH replacement battery
I purchased this SMALLRIG LP-E6NH USB-C battery for my Canon SLR camera as the original Canon battery was extremely expensive. I am really pleased with it holds the charge well and lasts a long time in between charges. The best thing is that it can be charged via a USB-C port. I recommend it as a well priced and usable replacement battery.

Good alternative to Canon originals (so far)
Work well so far and like the convenience of not having to use a bulky charger. Long life performance compared to Canon original is unsure but appreciated the price and these are every day use batteries with my original Canon ones as backups.

EASY CONNECT EASY CHARGE
I like the fact that these batteries can simply be plugged into with a USB-C cable. We've all got those, and if you go to another country you probably take an adaptor to charge your phone, tablet, smart watch, and other devices. You don't need another adaptor for this battery, as you can use your other adaptors in between them charging your phone etc. so charge in your car, your caravan, your holiday home, at the airport. These batteries recharge quickly and there's good life in them when they are inside my Canon EOS R7. Oh, and I like the sky blue colour of the battery.

Good value batteries
Great solution when travelling as you only need to take the cable! Not as long lasting as the Canon batteries but otherwise perfect.

Great convenience, weak performance
I'm conflicted about these. Took one as my main battery on a 2-week trip and the convenience of being able to recharge directly from USB-C was great: didn't have to bother packing the charger and if I got caught out I could charge on the go with a standard power bank.Unfortunately that happened all too often. It makes sense that including the charging bits in the case will compromise the capacity but in my Canon R6 I was lucky if it lasted a full day. Worse, the charge indicator was completely unreliable - I had it go from 75% charge to dead in less than an hour. Whether that's the battery itself or the way the camera reads it I don't know but obviously made management very difficult and you lose confidence when it's showing anything less than full charge. To be fair I'm new to mirrorless and need to learn some discipline around turning the camera off when not shooting (never an issue with my old DSLRs) so I can probably improve performance.I will probably buy another couple because of the convenience, but with slightly gritted teeth. If you're doing extended shooting or use wifi a lot you probably need at least two to have full confidence, but not having to bother with a charger is a godsend.

USB-C charging gives this battery a real advantage.
I use this in a Canon R6 and 5D mk4, shooting stills and video for weddings and events. It seems to hold its charge well and has good capacity. Although there are plenty of cheaper 3rd-party batteries, the ability to charge it with a USB-C cable gives this a real advantage over other batteries (including Canon's own).

Brill in every way
Think of the cost of buying a Canon battery and remember you can buy two of the Smallrig LP-E6NH batteries and still have change in your pocket. More than that, you can use your Canon charger to charge the elegant Blue Smallrig - but is easier to use a USB-C connextion and boy there charge up far quicker than the Canon. WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR?

An excellent alternative LP-E6NH battery
I normally stick to OEM batteries but decided to take a chance with this SMALLRIG battery for my R6 mikeand so far I have no regrets. It took approximately just over an hour to charge it out of the box using the original canon charger. (I haven't tried charging via the supplied USB-C cable)I checked the battery for overheating etc once it had charged and all was fine so no issues there. My first trip out and I shot 475 images with my R6MKII and RF100 Macro. Camera settings were One ShotSingle Shooting Electronic 1st Curtain and the Camera switched on permanently for 3 hours. The battery showed 73% power remaining. The camera recognises the battery when you look in the battery info menu.Time will tell how well the battery will perform etc but at £39.90 I am glad I have made the purchase and it is very well made and as with SMALLRIG the quality is very good (Even the Blue finish isn't off putting)If you are looking for an alternative to the OEM Canon LP-E6NH i can recommend this one.
