I really like the Easee one as an installer and user. I have two at my house. They don’t scream ‘HEY LOOK IVE A GARISHly ILLUMINATED CHARGER BOX ON MY HOUSE!!!!’ They are small, simple and easy to use, waiting for the the octopus compatibility to be intergrated and they’ll become morePopular. Worth a look tho

Picked this charger as it’s so easy to install and use, the app is simple and doesn’t require a fob to charge as you can start charging from the app, looks great on the side of your house - I thought I would unteather the cable but I always leave it in

The media could not be loaded. The charger works as described and mounts perfectly on the easee base post.The charger is sleek and very minimalistic which suits my preferences especially as I didn't want the charger to be am eyesore for the neighbours.The locking feature that keeps your cable in is very welcome as you can use the unit as tethered OR untethered depending on your needs.Two downsides are :RFID tags are not included. Most places sell packs of 10 from £26 upwards. So after spending £500+, I would have expected atleast 2 tags to be included.Secondly,I have a screw missing to lock the faceplate in. This is minor as it doesn't affect the usage of the unit? But it does somewhat make the unit less secure if someone wanted to try tampering with it.The app is modern and works well, just can not deal with variable or dual tarrifs, I.e. if you have an on peak and off peak rate.I have included some screen grabs of the app for you to have an idea of the software.

I installed this myself, although I am an electrician so made it easier.It’s easy to setup. It doesn’t have a visible screen so either use the app which is simple or check the LED status. I have have the LED lights set to off as it’s visible from the road.The only thing I could say as a con is the socket cover. It’s not sprung closed.

Charger does the job as long as you have an alternative option to charge your car, as it may just stop charging, the app doesn’t always work and the device doesn’t respond to reboot or other commands.Customer service and technical support is tragic, it is done vie chat bots and email ONLY.So if you urgently need to get it back on best to call specialists electrician.

This is the most stylish and best charger on the market,The quality of the unit itself is very high; it’s made in Norway, not in China.The service level and support from the company is superb, the configurable options are very good and the app itself is easy to use,You can program it to activate with any RFID card, so for example you can read your work ID or your contactless card and it will then let you use that card to activate the charge.The one thing I wish it had an option for is a retractable charge cable to keep everything neat but the best they can do is a matching hook, which although expensive for what it is, looks great too and is offset by the relatively low price of this unit compared to others.

Easy to use app. Can pair the charger with other RFID cards too.Mine is piggy backed onto the Monta App and generates an income when used by public.
