Gotta have the kit!
Two things - Absolutely use the remote, and absolutely get the app. This is my first compact action type camera, and I'm very happy so far. The gimbal does the job nicely, battery life is pretty good (about 40 minutes filmed so far, and it still has charge left), and in decent indoor and outdoor light, this gets some fantastic video footage.Pros -1. Image is fluid and stable, even at a jog. This does an exceptional job tracking objects and panning/tilting appropriately. Follow mode works very well. I can see myself using this making videos in the garage when I'm building things.2. 4k, 2.7k, 1080p - 4k up to 60FPS, but it kinda looks so fluid it's almost slow-motion. 1080p at 120FPS gives a great effect, though. Using the app, you can access these features on the fly without having to move the camera.3. The App - The App has come a long way since the first several versions. You can quickly control pretty much every aspect of the camera. Mode, type of movement (bike, vehicle, walking, running), and all of the different video modes. So much easier than navigating the menus on the camera.4. Remote - It does most of what the app does, and makes connecting via wifi fast and painless. The control nub is okay, but not great. It does the job, though.5. Cover....There's a hard shell cover for the camera. Sweet.Cons -1. Wide Angle - It's blurred at the edges of the video. I get great video when I'm not using wide angle, though.2. No external/swappable batteries. The battery is built in so you'll need to have a power bank available if you're going to do lots of video.3. Buttons on remote are hard to see - everything is matte black.4. Audio - The audio isn't great. Needs a lot of gain in post to make it useable, and even then it isn't fantastic. So who is it for? Someone with a secondary source for audio that just needs some buttery smooth b-roll footage. This is super stable on the dashboard, the magnet it strong enough that it can stay in place on the hood. Comes with straps to attach to a bicycle, too. Basically if you want smooth outdoor footage and don't want to spend a lot, this camera does an exceptional job. If you want the camera to follow you when you're moving about...Perfect.Who is this not for? Someone who wants to vlog. Use your phone and deal with the video wobble.

So cool!
This is my first time buying a camera to use to record my kids daily life and it was one of the great purchase to have before we went on a Disney trip. It is so simple to use the power button on the side powers it up quickly and is also a button to use to switch to camera mode to other video formats which I really like because I don't want multiple buttons on the handle that I might accidentally touch it when I'm recording. The video screen lets you see what's in view and the zoom in zoom out is right below your thumb and it's very easy to control. We went on the Disney trip for 2 days in a row and I only have to charge it at the beginning of the trip and there were still batteries left over at the end of the two days. I recorded 1080p which is enough for us to view clear pictures and images of my kids when they go and visit the princesses. Camera is small that fits in my pocket when it's not in use the plastic case to cover the camera protect it from drops and ruining the gyroscope. This is much better video quality than on the phone and I can't record for a long period of time on my phone due to storage capacities. This is a great addition to record and keep my daughters childhood memories so that they can view in the future. I would recommend if anyone's buying this to buy a $512 gig micro SD card pro version so that it doesn't delay the writing process when it is recording in high quality. I used to bring my DSLR to anywhere we go to record videos but it is just so bulky so I'll just keep my DSLR to take professional photos and use this to record videos of our daily lives. Also came with the stand which was great cuz I positioned the stand on a chair during our Christmas morning to record the kids coming down the stairs and then seeing them opening the presents and be part of it instead of behind the cameras and miss out the moments.

Broke after a few months of light usage.
The media could not be loaded. Barely used this camera only filled about 25gig of footage onto it until it started having these errors. When you turn it on, it will flash stuck and then turn off. I sent an email to their support and never got any response. Probably better to go with DJI's option even if it is more expensive.

Assume you get no warranty.
So, I wanted to love this. The detach / magnet thing is cool. The inability to connect an external mike is a super pain but I would record audio separately and then merge video and audio. A pain but not insurmountable. What is a big problem for me is that there is essentially NO WARRANTY. The head quit rotating about 9 months into ownership. I contacted them re. the supposed 1 year warranty. They had me make a video demonstrating the issues. I did. Then they gave me a complex process to send it back to China at 100% my risk if it got lost or stopped by customs. The instructions did not map well to entering a USPS shipping label. I think it was going to cost $50-60 just to ship it back. How long for "repair," who knows. So, just assume NO WARRANTY.

Impressive
I have been using this for a while now and am quite impressed by the stabilization this offers and the video quality as well. I’m able to get an hour 20 minutes to 30 minutes of footage with this so battery life is decent for the size of the device. Despite its small size it offers the expected features that I have been using alot on my jogs and runs like panning and tilting but the most useful is where I can lock in on an object and the camera tracks it. I mainly use it for video and voice over separately during the edit for a crisp audio quality. So I would keep that in mind. This pocket gimbal is compact and can be operated through the app or the remote. I personally prefer the app option because I’m just quicker with that. All in all, I’m happy with this and will continue to shoot videos with this for vlogs and travel/hike trips.
