Q: How do the poles fix into the ground where there Are paving slabs. Is it better to pave first then put the canopy up or the other way round.

You should really take up the paving slab and create a concrete foundation. Drilling a paving slab will weaken it and potentially cause it to crack

It comes with easy to follow instructions however I would advise applying suitable tape to the ends of the panels to prevent dirt ang moisture getting in
