14k REAL Yellow Gold Ball Stud Earrings with Screw Back - 5 Different Size Available

I have double-pierced ears, and I always wear my diamond studs in the top piercing. I wanted a yellow gold earring that could be worn long-term without irritation. These perfectly fit the bill. They are shiny and classic, so they go with everything. I read the reviews of these earrings before purchase, and this is my experience with them: first, I knew that really tiny studs (3mm or less) could slip through my piercing, so I selected 5mm studs. These do not slip through; second, the earrings arrived in perfect condition; third, the screw backs are tiny, really tiny. They do not screw on far enough to compress my earlobe, but they hold the studs on securely. I am extremely allergic to nickel, and these earrings have never irritated my ears.Just a tip from a klutz: if you're near a sink when you're handling the backs, put a tissue over the drain. I dropped the left one on my first attempt, and it was a relief to know it wasn't down the drain. I routinely sleep in these with no problems.

first when i ordered this i got it for my daughter,she only can wear gold earring's or her ear will get infected.so i picked this one, now when i got it, it was fast shipping,now i will say this earring is small, not for adult i hope you all know that,its perfect for y daughter she is 18m old, and now she have been wearing it since july, and no problem at all,my daughter forget that shes wearing one, i love it thank you so much for the fast shipping and great earring.. will be getting more from this company for sure

I love these earrings! I had to replace a pair that didn't have screw on backs because I lost a back to one of the earrings. I never realized how much I checked to see if my old earrings were still in place-which I no longer have to do! These are great! Very comfortable and sturdy. I wear them all day every day- in the shower and while sleeping. The post is longer than most earrings I've used, but they're comfortable if you have thicker earlobes and the earrings are lightweight. I love them and would definitely purchase again!!Update 5/8/2020: I’ve worn these earrings every day for 2.5 years and they are still in great condition!! I’ve worn them in the shower, pool, ocean and working out. Definitely recommend!

These are perfect for a newborn or to keep your piercing open. Are they worth the price? No. These are so small $15 should have been the max. If you have big hands, be prepared to spend at least 20 to 30 minutes trying to put them in a screw the backs on. Good Luck!UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!:If you are an adult and using these to keep a piercing open, DON'T DO IT!!!! This earring ended up getting stuck in the hole. Ear swollen couldn't get it out and had to destroy the earring to finally get it out! Go up a size or 2!!

I purchased the 5mm which is perfect not too big and not terribly small. The only challenge I had was putting the back onto the earring. I definitely wanted the screw on post but the post hole is extremely small and I must have spent at least 10 minutes trying to line up the stem to the post hole. I finally gave up and happened to have a pair of earrings with screw on posts that fit perfectly. Also the stem on the earring is really long. This would have been a problem if I had used their post but since I used a post I already had and it happened to be deeper the long stem is not a problem for me. If you end up using their post you might have floppy earrings.

These earrings are well made but they have a couple of issues that made me return them. First, the posts are pretty long so when you put the screw backs in they tend to hang from the ear. The screw backs are a good idea but they are really tiny and difficult to put on. My ear lobes are a standard size and the posts are so long and the screw backs to small that the earrings do not fit snuggly. I tried a set of silicone backs and that solved that issue. The other thing is that the earring “balls” are not exactly spherical. They are 6mm tall as described but only about 5mm wide. I kept looking at them and they just seemed small somehow so I measured them and realized they are sort of oblong, not really spherical. This is not a problem if you order a size up, but I did not realize this when I ordered them. So all in all, not a really bad product if you are aware or the drawbacks but for me I just needed ones a bit bigger so I decided to return them. Hope other people have better luck. They seem well made, just with some drawbacks.

I was looking for a small gold ball earring for my nose and I decided to purchase these. Great choice. It was the pert size. They are real gold. I’ve had them over 2 years and they have not faded or lost the shine. No swelling or irritation in my nose. I even purchased a larger size for my niece and she’s 4 now and still has them in her ears with no problems. The stew backs are outstanding. I highly recommend them for purchase.

I have a few pairs, and even the ones I've had in for a year at a time are in great shape. Unlike a lot of earrings like this, the posts are long enough to they don't cause inflammation and discomfort from being too tight. The bigger ones sometimes sag a little due to how long the posts are, so I put a little rubbery silicone earring back on the posts at the back so they aren't quite so loose. They're definitely gold--I get intense itching, and blisters after a few hours, from anything else. I love them.
