Great quality tap
I'm very happy with this new tap. We have been using it for 5 months now and still looks as good as new. I noticed some other reviews with paint issues but not for us. It gets a lot of use due to having a young family and we are very happy with it. Its superb quality. The installation was very easy and sits very well into the counter. We sealed around the base of it with silicone when fitting it incase of any issues later.It performs very well. Has great power in the hot and cold tap. It's even more powerful than our previous tap. Great value for money. Quality is as good as any store bought one in my opinion. We don't have any leakage problems and when it's turned off there is no drip.

Good quality tap but a spreader plate would help stop rocking if mounting on a steel sink
Tap came well packed in a foam-lined box and looks good quality. Fitting is quite easy, threaded ends of tails fit 15mm pipe connectors (pic 1 shows a standard 15mm isolating valve) and the installation of the tap is only a bit more fiddly than usual because of the 2 small small cross-headed screws that provide additional clamping load on the thrust ring, whereas the tap that was removed had a triangular load spreading plate and no screws, so relied on the large hexagonal nut for clamping load. In my opinion this was a better solution as the big nut was easy to turn to provide clamping, and the spreader plate reduced the sink flex and therefore reduced the rocking of the top of the tap. The new condion is ok but could be better.Installed the tap looks smart and operates smothly. Too early to tell if the coating is more resistant to peeling than the old black tap, but the gunmetal finish hides the hard water marks rather better!
