For You (A Morgan Cross FBI Suspense Thriller—Book One) Paperback – May 31, 2023

It was a book you could not put down. It made you feel sympathy for the main character and it kept you looking at all sides of the story to figure out the culprit.

Good start with this series. Good characters, good story line and a good mystery. From FBI Agent to prison to FBI Agent, Morgan proves herself once again.

Every page had a new twist and turn! I couldn’t put this one down until the last page, which made me sad it was done.

Although a different scenario, and well-written, it has unbelievable scenes. The final mine scene for one. I don't like books that leave hanging threads. I recognize this is a marketing strategy. However, it is possible to write an interesting series without leaving a plot line unfinished.

Serial killers are for many reasons quite difficult to identify and capture.This was the case too for Samson ( amongst a couple of others) as he went on a killing spree "to bring back the Messiah"However, for Morgan Cross, he also proved to be the reason she got framed for the fourth killing and got sent to jail.Getting exonerated after ten years was welcome if not for two things...Sampson suddenly resumed his killings and the FBI was desperate enough to appoint her as an agent again in order to catch this murderer.Except Morgan is no longer the quick, relentless pursuer of this killer she used to be. Ten years in jail left its marks.The first in a series by author Blake Pierce, For You is full of psychological twists and surprises. Small wonder reaching the end of the book has one gasping in surprise that you could have read so much so quickly.Enjoy

This series has potential with the two main characters. The author gets a bit into verbiage in my view. Of course cults are no my area of expertise. A second book is viable.

I always immerse myself in such a great storyline that I just read and read until I tired. Great characters and Morgan Cross is a great agent.

How do you prove your innocence while in prison? Then how do you find the guilty once you get out? Lots of suspense and action.
