10.5oz Cerium Oxide Glass Scratch Remover, Professional Glass Polishing Compound for Windshield, Glass, TERO >99%, 3.5 Microns

I have used this to clean glass windshields and stove tops. Gets hard to remove crud off the stove top. Haven't used in as much on scratches, so not sure how well that works.

This product works but it does take some effort on your part

I used this not for its intended automotive purpose. Instead, I used this to polish gemstones and cabochons, including obsidian ( natural glass ). This is what is used for a final polish. I do not recommend this product for that. I tried 3 times and got the same cloudy outcome. I also assumed because it was a white powder, it was high grade. This color is reserved for high grade cerium oxide with around 2.5 microns or lower. Even the peach has 3.5 microns. This product has my guess at the same as about a 1200 grit polish. The microns are not listed. I’m guessing because the company knows it’s not high grade. Not acceptable for shine. Terrible really. So if you’re a lapidary, you want to avoid purchasing this powder. You’re going to have to spend a little more with the two other name brand products here on Amazon if you want a beautiful high polish.I gave this product one star so that it would give my fellow lapidaries a chance to see this review. Not because I’m saying it’s the worst. I didn’t use it for automotive so I can’t speak for its final polish for that. However, because I used this on Obsidian (natural glass), I can tell you it does not polish this to a high gloss after a flawless 3,000 grit. It took it back down to what I guess was a 1200 grit with cloudiness.

Cleaned up my windows nicely but didn’t removed the scratches I have. Good product, pretty simple to use, and comes with full kit.
