this is a luxury fragrance for those who know and appreciate middle east/Arabic fragrance style. this is how the East culture like it ( fragrance ) long lasting and loud. this is what makes it Luxury the scent it's self is amazing. not too strong on Oud though. but when all the notes comes together. it smells really luxury. by the way. that is a Unisex fragrance not only for women. some women would think this is too much manly but in my opinion unisex

Obsession of Oud - Sawalef by Swiss Arabian (2.7 oz / 80 ml)The elixir de parfum arrived in a large box that was wrapped in plastic. Inside the impressive-looking box, in a black, velvet-like lined cutout, was the substantial black and gold bottle. The bottle looks masculine to me; it’s visually (and physically) heavy. Ingredients are listed on the box. My understanding is that oud is a rare, extremely expensive ingredient, so most oud fragrances are synthetic, like this one.Oud is a new fragrance to me, but overall this parfum is a strong, smoky, sensual scent. It’s heavier (one spray is enough) that I’ll use occasionally at night, probably most often in autumn and winter. However, there is a slight sweetness and even a powdery note (perhaps a bit from the honey but I believe it’s from the more dominant Turkish rose), that to my nose provides the feminine notes that make this a unisex fragrance, even though for me it leans towards the masculine. This parfum lasts; it doesn’t fade on me until somewhere between the 7th and 8th hour.This is a scent to wear when you want your scent to be noticed.Icons state that the parfum is cruelty-free and should be good for at least 36 months after opening. A 05/2028 Expiration date (and 05/2023 Production date) was stamped on the bottom of the bottle I received in January 2024. Made in the United Arab Emirates.

Amazing scent lasts all day

I was really disappointed in this scent. I normally really like the oud aroma but this one just made me think of an "old folks home". The aroma smelled old fashioned instead of earthy. I think it was the rose undertones that put me off because rose is one of the scents that I'm not really fond of in perfumes. I was hoping it would be negligible but it was overpowering for me. The box and bottle were absolutely beautiful and would make a good gift to someone who you know likes this scent.

The moment you open this box, you know you're getting something special. The presentation alone is gorgeous. The box it comes in is good for long term use. You open it up and it has a light bronze border with ornate designs printed on it. The lid and interior are lined with a black velvety material. The box is molded to fit the bottle, and there's a ribbon attached to the box to make it easier to remove the bottle. The bottle is a chunky black bottle with grooves dividing into thirds. There aremetallic gold features and a few small inset faux accent jewels. The large cap matches the design on the bottle. Pulling the cap off, reveals a bronze colored spritzer.I had to look up what oud is and got a little dendrology lesson. Evidently it has something to do with the aquilaria tree and the effect of its resin over time. The scent is hard to describe. It's more of a woody musk with some floral influence, kind of similar to roses. It's what I would describe as a deep tone. This is marketed for men and women, and I agree it would work for either. One to two spritzes is plenty for normal use. I really like this one for occasional use.

I was excited to try this perfume, as i have been a fan of sawalef in the past. However, this fragrance just completely missed the mark. It's is cloyingly unpleasant, so much so that i couldn't even try to wear it. It has a distinct aroma of moth balls and stale tortilla chips, and it just completely turned my stomach as soon as i opened the bottle. Given the exorbitant price tag and the unpleasant odor, cannot recommend

This is a difficult review for me because I really don't like the scent. I ordered this on description alone thinking it was a scent I would enjoy. Unfortunately, I didn't like it at all. It's possibly my skin chemistry with it, I'm not sure. But I can't get over feeling like I smell like I'm at a doctor's office. And that's my honesty opinion of scent alone- but that doesn't mean it wouldn't smell good on you. And if you already know the scent and like it, then I do have some good things to say...The packaging of this perfume is pure luxury. It comes in a heavy duty box you would want to save and not throw away. The bottle is strong and beautiful- it just cries luxury product. All it takes is one spray and this perfume lasts all day. It is very long wearing so you the value is there in that you don't have to use much go a long way.If you already know the scent and like it, there should be no hesitation in ordering. If you're unsure of scent, I would recommend testing it before buying to make sure it's for you.

I have to say that this is one of the best scents I have tried in a long time. I do not care for heavily floral scents and was intrigued by the description of this. I can only use a very small amount, because too much scent of anything can make me very ill. The presentation is beautiful and would be very giftable. My daughter has fell in love with it also and so I have gifted it to her.
