Professional Quality and Built Like a Bull
Shipping was fast and packaging good. But I had a issue with the first one. I reached out to Rolair and explained the problem and they immediately got to work getting a replacement to me right away since I had immediate need for it. The next day I was sent a email giving me the address for a local building supplier to go pick up a brand new in the box compressor. The second one has been great. I am a home remodel and improvement contractor and rely on my compressor almost daily, and demand a lot from it.The FC2002 has performed flawlessly. I chose a Rolair because of their reputation for quality and customer service. My decision was spot on because their customer service proved to be top notch. Fast, professional and very courteous. The performance hasn't had a single hiccup yet, even with running multiple nailers at once on it. The build quality is very good, the "Bull" is a fitting name.If I have any complaints its that number one, the air filter casing is fragile if hit from the side. Its just a plastic threaded nipple directly off the back of the plastic case and can easily be snapped off leaving the threaded nipple in the side of the cylinder head. I always point it out to my employees reminding them to be careful when moving it or wrapping the power cord.Second, its heavy! I bought this to be my "bigger" compressor in the field and also use smaller pancake compressors that is more convenient inside customer homes, smaller jobs and etc. Being heavy isnt a fault or flaw, its just something I wanted to bring to consideration. Its made to be a heavy duty professional grade compressor. It is the "Bull" after all!Other than the somewhat fragile air filter, I can find no fault with the compressor or the company that backs them. Great compressor and great customer service. I would buy a Rolair all over again without hesitation.

100% Duty Cycle
I was looking for a portable compressor with 100% duty cycle that I could use in other applications where the compressor may need to run continuously. This compressor is very similar to many other stacked units. The company has provided a way to start this unit when the weather is cold. The pressure regulator adjusts very easily because the knob is large and turns easily.3 months later: I have now owned this unit for 3 months and it has performed very well. There are times when I have used it with a drywall texture gun. In this application there are times when it has to run much of the time and it has done very well. It does not produce enough CFM for the gun so I use it in conjunction with an air tank and another compressor. When I am using the texture gun the compressor runs most of the time when the gun is in use.I am writing the next part in 2024. I am still using it to run finish nailers and it performs very well.

Very nice portable compressor
I replaced a Hitachi twin tank with this, and I like it better. It's quieter, the switch is easier to operate, and the tank drain valves are infinitely nicer. I have not checked the current draw, but it has yet to pop a breaker, and my Hitachi used to do that routinely, especially when the ambient temp was lees than 60 F. It is a little awkward to carry, and maybe a touch heavy, but once you get it where you're going, it's a great unit.

Not a good first choice
We purchased this compressor for our motor-coach to operate the air doors. After a month on a movie set, hard wired in to building power this compressor started to smoke an tripping the reset button. We have replaced it with a Dewalt compressor of similar spec’s , which is working perfectly. I would not purchase this compressor again or recommend it to anyone. This compressor does NOT work well with a generator as a power source as mentioned in the owners manual, so for job site it may not be a first choice. I did find that it is louder that the Dewalt that replaced it. I have let this seller know that it stopped functioning with in a month. I will update with their response. Maybe a YouTube video.UPDATE: Feb-2, Quick reply from the seller. They are supplying a shipping label for the return of the compressor to its manufacturer for testing.UPDATE: I spoke with Amazon yesterday about this return. They will be paying for the shipping and up on receiving the compressor, I will get a refund. As of right now I WOULD USE THIS SELL AGAIN AN RECOMMEND THEIR ONLINE STORE. AS FOR THE COMPRESSOR, MAYBE I JUST GOT A BAD ONE.

Not light - but it does compress air!
Unit was delivered in original packing box - no overwrap - and it had been opened before delivery. I suspected a returned unit, which worried me because the supplied air filter was not attached, though the units should not be run without it. Rol-Air does claim to test run all of these imported units, so perhaps that explains its status, though not the lack of an attached filter. The filter is difficult to screw in - you must push the two air tanks away with one hand to get it inserted. No warranty statement or registration card was packed (it is 1 year) and their literature states either an initial oil change after 5 hours or 50 hours, depending upon which text you follow! As noted by others, the two tank bleed valves are pathetic, difficult to turn, and put your hand directly into the air stream (they advise no bleeding until tank pressures drop to 10 psi). If you foresee a lot of needed mobility, a wheeled unit may be advised. The unit is hardly silent but only moderately noisy and so far, it has started and run with no circuit breaker trips. Haven't owned or run it long enough to comment on reliability but this company needs to more closely review its overseas-produced literature (guess where!) and upgrade the drain valves (apparently in the works). Update in Dec. 2017: the oil capacity upon draining is about 1/4 of a liter. The Rolair oil is supplied in 1 liter bottles, so they should provide 4 oil changes. My main issue with this unit: back pain!
