I used this for our Halloween display to hold up our chicken-wire ghosts to make it look like they were slowly dancing/spinning. It worked great, no issues, if there was noise, it was soft and I couldn't really hear it (was used outside), and it was very durable. It was up for the entire month of October and worked great when the big day arrived. I'll be using this again in future displays!

I had purchased several battery powered mirror ball motors in the past and all were WAY too fast. The slowest battery powered one I could find was 12-15 RPM. This one, at 1.5 RPM, is perfect! It requires an electrical outlet with ground but I made it work by tapping power from my recessed lights and adding a screw in plug adapter. Worked great!

Will work for most applications, however, I chose this motor drive over the others because the images on the seller's page showed that the shaft had a female thread on it's tip. That would make it more versitile. However, when I received the motor drive, I immediately noticed that it in fact did not have that one feature that made me choose this motor over others. I am bit disappointed however, not to the point of wanting to return it. It will do most jobs. Thus the 4 stars! On an upnote, the price is very attractive (-:

The media could not be loaded. This was the perfect slow speed turner. It was on all day from 10am to 10pm without any troubles or issues. Fantastic! I will say it unless you plan to screw this into the ceiling it needs some alterations, but it wasn’t a huge deal.

I ended buying a second one after the first. I had bought one of these before (different brand) and the damn thing turn so fast it actually WHIPPED around. Felt like more of a weapon than anything else. This one turns at the perfect pace and won’t kill anyone.

Bought this a few months ago, finally installed. This is a surprisingly loud motor. Turned on and run for five minutes, and the sound is progressively getting worse and worse. At least it spins when first powered on, but this is unusable for me, and certainly won’t last.

Hung our drying racks from these after removing the balls. Our herbs dried in no time since there was a slow gentle movement of air.

Nice, slow speed, just what we needed. Have been using for a few months now, pretty consistently, and has held up well. Very quiet, and like that it is powered by electricity instead of batteries.
