One pair of pads. One size, cut down with scissors to fit using the guide imprinted on the pad. The pad provides cushioning underfoot but as the hoof grows between trims the pad can be taken out to provide more space.

I got size 0 as it was the smallest size available. I got two. They were a bit big for her. Her feet were 4 1/2 inches wide. Hope this helps

Yes they come as a pair. The boots are usually sold as a single.

I am sure they would. I use mine for a thin soled TB exrace horse. Due to her poor hoof quality and thin soles she often loses shoes and is then very footsore. I immediately pop a Cavallo boot on with the extra gel pad inside and she is completely comfortable again until the farrier visits. I have used the Cavallo boot and gel pad long term when a she bruised her sole by treading on a stone. it worked well for long tern use and gave her great comfort but was bit sweaty inside so found it best to take the boots off and leave her on a soft surface for an hour or so each day to air the feet and boots. also I taped over the straps, with a couple of circuits of black electricians tape, as the velcro came undone a couple of times causing her to loose the boot in the field. Taping the straps keeps the boots on
