Thick material, not see through. Covers nicely. Used lighter to seal ends from fraying after cutting to length.

This is a split loom, not a fixed tube loom and thin but expandable. As for heat that remains to be seen .

Exactly as described and works great for organizing wires in a car build. Looks neat and clean.

More secure and better protection than the stock plastic split loom. Easy to install. When cutting, seal the ends with a small flame or lighter. A hot knife works well if you have one. Branch circuits can be brought out thru a hole made by an awl. I will be using this exclusively in the future.
