Only monitor to support 5K for both Macs and PCs
This is a very good 5K monitor. I use it both with a Macbook and a PC, and it's the only 5K I can find to offer that. The main downsides are that it has an antiglare coating which is noticeable on white backgrounds, and somewhat muddies the sharpness. And also the 'smart' features where you can use this to watch Netflix are a waste of time and just get in the way. It takes ages to setup, it desperately wants to be connected to the internet and the little control stick on the monitor is not able to fully use the menus so you have to resort to using a remote control. But - once set up to just be a display you don't need to do any of that again.I think if you're looking for a monitor for just a Mac then there are better alternatives. But if you want a monitor for both Mac and PC then you wont be disappointed with this monitor.

great idea for a monitor - terrible delivery
This monitor is clearly pitched at macintosh users - studio and mini in particular. Most of new studio users are coming from 5k imacs. The monitor promises a lot but delivers nothing. It doesn't support DDC so the brightness controls don't work. The quality of the screen is pretty shoddy. On a number of occasions the screen would just go black for no reason and the mac would think it was disconnected. There was COIL WHINE. If you are looking for a beautiful technically brilliant screen for your mac keep looking this isn't it.
