We were looking for an iPad wall mount for always on access to smarthome controls and security cameras, with high quality aesthetic as top criteria since it's in the middle of a high visibility area. Looking at some of the plastic offerings, they just don't match up with the beautiful glass and aluminum finish of the iPad. After finding this s11 mount, I was a bit hesitant with all the German only reviews. But being it's all metal finish (confirmed by vendor, more on that later), I decided to take the leap and give it a try.When I received the kit, everything about it screams quality. The packaging, instruction, hardware, and the mount itself are top notch finish. Installation was a breeze; if you can mount a picture frame you can do this. The only tricky part was coming up with proper AC power source to charge iPad without having wires dangling all over the place. The recommended PoE solution wasn't going to work for me, so quick search online landed me $14 Arlington DVFR1W-1 recessed electrical outlet box. Combined with a $10 power receptacle that has buildin USB ports, I was able to tap into a light switch right below the mounting location.The finished mount was everything we expected. It's almost as thin as the iPad itself, and looks like part of the iPad construction gives it that OEM feel. The clever key locking mechanism prevents removal of the iPad in case the little one wants to watch Loony Tunes (or whatever they watch these days). The bezel of the Arlington box happens to be the perfect thickness to hide behind the mount cage.The vendor/manufacturer was quick to respond to my pre-sale and post-sale questions. There was a little defect with one of the locking mechanism piece, which they promptly airmailed me a replacement from Germany. Excellent service for an excellent product!
