The media could not be loaded. I bought this camera with the intention of using it for creating content. Out of the box, the camera and external microphone is charged. The touchscreen interface will take a bit to get used to, however the owners manual is very helpful. It comes with the external microphone and screen is able to turn around so you can record yourself easily. The quality of the video is great and records in 4K. In low light situations you need to purchase an external light/flash. I personally use a ring light.Upon reviewing the manual, I noticed you are able to use as a webcam as well. I WFH 3 days a week and have many calls with clients and when I used this camera instead of the work laptop it is such a great and impressive upgrade to quality.Overall quality for the price is great! I will recommend this to those who wanted to make content and those who need an upgrade for their current webcam if working from home.

The media could not be loaded. This camera is more than I expected. For someone brand new to videography and possibly looking into vlogging, this camcorder will be perfect! I plan to take it on hikes to capture wildlife with the zoom, getting up close and personal with waterfalls, and capturing the sounds nature has to offer with the endhanced microphone. It also will take still photos which will be great for identification of birds and plants alike. The screen is touch screen but can also be navigated by buttons or remote. I look forward to going on many adventures with it and even allowing my oldest son to use it to capture bike riding and dirt biking in slow motion. It's small and is really easy to hold. Love all the options.

My favorite features of this camera are the built in stabilizer with the handle and the night vision mode. Switching the night vision on/off is easy. You can really see better in the dark with this mode. The stabilizer makes for clear smooth shots even when moving quickly. Picture quality is great. The eternal mic has a sock which buffers out the noisy wind making it softer so you can still narrate and be heard. The only problem with that is you must turn on the mic and make sure to plug it in which I forget sometimes. When you forget the sound quality is not good. Camera comes with two battery packs and a remote control. It would have been nice to have an external charger because the camera has to be plugged into the wall to re-charge the battery. You can recharge the mic battery at the same time. The only thing I was disappointed about was the zoom feature. First of all is is only 16x which means you can't zoom in very far. And you cannot zoom slowly into or out of the scene. There is no control over that. But overall I really like the camera.

I so wanted to like this camera. I have bought it to videotape my child's performance and I am so glad that I took it with me to test it at the rehearsal. I was sitting on the first row. It does not pick up colors. All costumes were whitish/blurry. Zoom was jerky and I couldn't find golden medium for me to cover the whole stage. It would either have too much on the sides or too close, so some of the performers were cut out. Quality of the video in general was very poor, pixelated, wrong colors. I don't even know where to start with the sound. I had mic connected. Sound was scratchy and poor clarity. Just to compare I used my phone to videotape actual performance from the exact same seat. Video was vastly different. Colors were bright and clear, sound had clarity, richness, and balance. So this camera is going back. I have no idea what other reviewers have bought, but I don't think it was this camera or they have never recorded anything.

So I gave it 3 stars … bc obviously it’s not like a GREAT camera BUT for the price point & what it does I was honestly surprised! I even still used some footage in my YouTube videos & no one noticed! It’s better if you have good lighting ! I love that it has a flip out screen & you can even record in the dark! Looks kinda freaky tho 😂 it will also record forever & not shut off like my DSLR. I recorded our whole Christmas morning on it - with a 2&1/2 year old. Let’s just say IT TOOK FOREVER 😂😂 like seriously tho at this price point I would actually recommend if you can’t afford anything like super nice - it will get the job done!! & like I said I’ve tried out a couple of cheep cameras like this off Amazon & they have all been returned except this one lol that should tell you something! It will definitely get you started on YouTube & it has the flip out! I like how small it is - nice to carry around - I also took it to my family Xmas eve & everyone was like whoa that’s a nice camera! 😂 I was like oh this??? Hehehe.

I am on the older side and I am not tech savvy, but I was able to pick this up and use it very easily. I recieved this Thursday and on Friday I was recording my grandson trick or treating. The battery hasn't died yet and I used it for about 5 hours straight. When we watched the video on the t.v. today it was a great picture. I'm very satisfied with the purchase, well worth the price.

There is absolutely no way this is 4K let alone 5K. The graininess in the video, even in daylight makes it useless for any purpose. The camera is built cheaply and the instructions are also junk. I'm giving it to my friend's grandkids because it really isn't anything more than a toy. I gave it two stars because of the extra items it came with, but the camera is so bad that I wouldn't use them anyway. Just use your phone. The quality will be 100 times better and you'll have saved yourself from buying junk.

Upon receiving this item, I immediately noticed the exceptional quality of the material. I anticipate that this camera will endure for an extended period. The picture resolution surpasses that of my previous camera, and I appreciate the user-friendly controls as well as the swift battery charging. The camera was delivered promptly, and overall, I highly recommend this product.
