Real Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks directly From Sri Lankan Farm 50g, 100g pack

not much needed for teas. I primarily use them for tea. smooth tasting

I ordered the 100 gram bags, 3.5 ounces twice and I have had great luck with them. People that have left bad reviews did NOT follow directions on making the flavor come out of these sticks. You must bake these at 300 degrees for 10 minutes and let cool to get the true flavor and aroma out of them. I did and they smell fantastic!! I made several batches of cinnamon extract out of these and plan to decant them soon and then air dry the sticks for 3 days and grind them to add to sugar to make cinnamon sugar.

Absolutely NO CINNAMON taste! Could be sawdust that I'm steeping

These are a great buy for anyone looking for whole cinnamon sticks. Flavor is good and a lot more bang for your buck. I would buy again if needed.

I ordered this item to use for my cinnamon infused maple syrup. I have never used cinnamon sticks before and was expecting a burst of cinnamon smell when I opened the bag. To my disappointment the only thing I smelled was a plastic kind of smell. I took a stick out and smelled it, licked it, sucked on it and still no flavor or aroma. I then boiled one of the sticks in water and it did release the cinnamon flavor and aroma I was looking for. It made a pretty flavorful cinnamon tea and made the house smell good so I think it will work good from my cinnamon infused maple syrup.

I read the reviews before I made my purchase and I do agree with those that wrote they have no smell at all! But there was one review that wrote putting the sticks in the oven for 10 minutes at 300 degrees and let them cool - so that is exactly what I did and these sticks had an amazing powerful aroma! I placed a half of the cinnamon stick in my decaf coffee and oh my - the flavor, taste and smell is delightful.I would definitely recommend and would definitely buy again..

After researching what the best type of cinnamon to buy and where to buy it from, I am pleased with the product. Celyon is better than Cassia and has more health benefits than. Celyon may not have the strongest aroma than Cassia, but it is better for health. This is the 2nd time I am buying this product. It came in sealed tight packaging. The ONLY problem I have with it is that I cannot seal it back with the inside zipper but I keep it closed with a chip clip inside a screw lid container from Walmart. (I keep all extra spices sealed in these containers).
