Amazing soil for aquariums

I was a little shocked at how black my water was to begin with, I left overnight and rinsed the filter once and by the following morning the water was crystal clear. I have some very active fish and bristlenose which are always on the bottom, they moves quickly when startled but it hasn’t stirred up the water to make it black again. Very pleased!

Looks good and bacteria seems to work.
I used one bag for a 60 litre tank, I probably needed a bit more for a slightly thicker layer but the plants are doing well. I was in the middle of cycling my tank when I decided to change the substrate to this, I had the tank running for about two weeks and had high nitrate and nitrite levels but the day after adding this both ammonia and nitrite were 0.
