Superb product
After the removal men have finished scratching your furniture, this polish is a life-saver. I use it in conjunction with felt pens especially made for 'touching-up' scratches on furniture.Use the pens first, then wipe this over the wood and polish-off with a duster or paper towel to remove the excess. Then buff the wood with a micro-fibre cloth. My furniture is mahogany and cherry style as per Chippendale, so this method ensures that the 'elderly' look is maintained. For my purposes, this polish has been a life-saver. As the colour is very dark, it is only for use with woods coloured from deep cherry to mahogany. I always receive complimentary comments about how great my furniture looks. I am an Architect who generally lives in 'International Style' type properties counterpoint with period furniture. Bison wax is always in the cupboard ready to go.

Lovely stuff
Lovely stuff. Buffed up an old shabby chic bare topped coffee table that had got a bit dry after being wiped with wet cloths. Has restored the beauty of the wood wonderfully. Applied with a clean dry microfiber dishcloth. Goes on light and sheer and is easy to build. Had the job done in ten minutes with one good coat. Has buffed to a lovely soft sheen. Smell reminds me of joss sticks. Sweet and heady. Like a kooky gift store full of crystals and nick naks. It is quite strong but not wholly unpleasant. Will be buying more in other colours for other jobs!

Excellent On My Antique Furniture
I have just used this product for the first time and I am very impressed. My dark oak antique furniture has to be handled with care and this product fits the bill. I usually use normal dark wood beeswax to polish, but it does take a bit of elbow grease to rub it in and can look smeared if you accidentally put too much on - taking ages to buff up. This product is in a different realm. It's more like a thick paste and not hard, so glides on really easily. As long as you put it on thinly and build up the layers it's a dream to use and gets breeathtaking results. I have patches on some of my furniture that have been dry or scratched for of 70 years and its got rid of them with three applications . I also love the way you don't have to buff this up straight away. You rub it in, then leave it for twenty minutes before buffing. Well done Liberon, I will be buying more of your products.

Absolutely brilliant. I had an old oak chest that had been in a stable for 15 years. I followed the instructions (which were very simple) and it now looks amazing and is back in the house. You want to leave it outside for a couple of days as the wax smell is quite intense but definitely worth it to see this beautiful old piece of furniture rejuvenated.

excellent wax for dark wood
This is an excellent wax for wood: the dark oak is very dark in colour, produces a wonderful finish and smells good too. I'm using it to finish wood-turnings and like the way it helps to even out small blemishes and give a very naturalistic, satin shine. This has now become my wax of choice.
