Better than original carafe
I was very surprised to find this carafe was actually better than the original coffee carafe I had with our Cuisinart coffee center.This carafe has the decorative stainless steel handle just like the OEM carafe and its size/shape was exactly right to fit the Cuisinart. The part that made it superior to the OEM carafe was that it 'seated' better under the coffee filter's spring stopper (the Cuisinart coffee center has fairly bad reviews about this issue). Also, the glass and the way it attached to the handle felt more solid and of better quality material than the OEM carafe. I could be wrong on that last part, but it certainly seemed like the OEM Cuisinart carafe was inferior to this carafe.Overall, I highly recommend this carafe for Cuisinart coffee centers. I am actually considering buying another one or two as a backup in case this company doesn't make them in the future.

Do not purchase
The quality of this product is very poor!The top band does not seal to the glass rim, so when you pour coffee leaks out and runs down the side if the pot and all over the everything. Does not matter if you pour it slowly or fast it has absolutely no seal between the plastic rim and pour spout to the glass.If a manufacturer is going to go through the motions of making an inexpensive product replacement they should really have a better quality control plan. We didn’t open the package for several weeks after it arrived because we had been using our backup machine, so by the time we realized that it was a piece of junk it was too late to return.

Quality
Thank God that these coffee pots are replaceable. I went to put my pot in the machine and was clumsy and didn’t t feel out of my hand only to fall on the floor in a million pieces and I was devastated because I didn’t know that I could get another one but my husband said to me to check on Amazon for a replacement and it was there so I ordered it and received the very next day. So thankful.
