Sometimes the needle unthreads because my finger slid over the opening of the eye
Very easy to thread but also very easy to unthread just by slipping by the eye. I use these needles to bury the knots after I have quilted a quilt

Sewing binding on a quilt.
Needles are nice because you don’t have to tread them just slip thread in the grove on side and done. The problem is the grove on the side gets stuck on the fabric as you draw the needle through. Bad design. I do like the wooden container so was worth keeping!
