These hooks are awesome! Crocheting is smooth and I love the grip.

I wear a large to xl glove and have a difficult time with average length and short crochet hooks. These are long enough they fit my hand and I am not constantly losing my grip, like with many of the shorter ones. The bumpy grips on the handle portion help with grip too! I have less hand fatigue with these, than I have with others that have a shorter handle or are smaller around. These are great because the hook and handle stay together, no slippage like some hooks with plastic handles! The only improvement I can think of is making the handles a bit bigger around for arthritic hands.

BEST crochet hooks on the MARKET!! They are worth every Penny!!! Only reason i Gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I personally carved thumb grooves for a more comfortable feel as these don’t have any comfort grip. That being my ONLY complaint, if you are on the fence wondering if it is worth it, and you crochet constantly.. do yourself a favor and invest in these. You won’t be disappointed 😁

Think carefully before buying (I wish I had). These aren't sold by Amazon so aren't returnable. They are VERY expensive for what they are -- the metal is nice and shiny and smooth, but the throat/shank is very short -- too short for some fancy stitches. And the handle isn't pictured here in full. The bottom part has a number of indentations (bars) . I'm not finding these comfortable on my hands. Look at a site like Annie'sCatalog or Jimmy Bean's to see close-ups of the entire handle before you buy. These aren't all that special to justify the price. Maybe you will see it differently but it would be best to try to test these out before buying.UPDATE: I am allowed to return with a deduction of $6.83 from my refund. I am doing so today.

I bought 2 of these hooks based on reviews and on comparisons from expert crocheters. What a waste of money! I'm sending both back. I have switched back to my cheap Yarnis hooks for the 2 projects I am working on. They do not pull smoothly. The hook itself is not deep enough and even though the 5mm is recommended and I'm using a 5.5mm (#3 acrylic yarn)...the yarn pops off far more often than on my cheap hooks. There is way too much drag on the yarn. The only thing they have going for them, IMO, and the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is they are long. I really do like the length of them. They are comfortable in my hand. Posting a pic with my cheap hooks on the left, the Addi on the right. You can visually see why the cheaper hook is working better and crocheting is much smoother. For the price I expected a much smoother pull on my yarn. I waited weeks for these hooks to arrive and was so excited to finally get them. What a disappointment.
