As someone who has watched '50 Shades of Grey' countless times, I was so looking forward to receiving 'Fifty Shades Darker'. However, after my first viewing I was left feeling somehow dissatisfied, so I watched it again to see if it would improve, but it didn't.The actors did a great job with what they had been given, but I feel it needed a female director's touch. There were scenes where you were waiting for more when, suddenly, we were on to something else. For me, it seemed as though they tried to cram too much into the allotted time, and this resulted in great disappointment for me.I now feel that not only will I never watch this again, but it has spoiled the first film for me too. Please remember, this is my own opinion. I realise that many more people will have the exact opposite opinion, and I wish I were one of them. I didn't want to be left feeling cheated - it's not a nice feeling - but, sadly, it's the truth.I've given 3 stars for the actors' performance, but I would only award one star for the content. I can't believe I'm saying that, but it's true.

I was given so many opinions of this film, so decided it wasn’t for me. Until I had some time on my hands and thought I’d see what all the fuss was about. I’m so glad I did, what an emotional story from a young age a boy growing up with many demons he’s had to cope with and having to deal with them in adulthood thinking there was no such thing as love until he met Anastasia. The magnetism between them was amazing I was told about all the sex scenes and how perverted it all was but I saw it as it could be told no other way which made it all the more authentic I thorough enjoyed this film and was hooked for the next two!
