They work, roll back and extend fine, the rubber will come off its ring mount if bothered enough but easy enough to slip back on and it doesn't come loose in normal use. Good product.

Received day after ordering in good condition! Its two floppy rubber ring lens hoods. They're OK for what they cost. I wanted a lens hood for a Nikon 24mm f2.8 Ai-S lens. With the rubber hood retracted to its shortest extension there is visible corner vignetting. Take the floppy rubber stuff off and the ring provides a degree of sun shading for the 24mm f2.8 lens. Considering metal hoods specificially designated for this lens cost about $20, its a decent buy and a keeper.

Rubber hood will not stay attached to metal ring. Unable to use. Too much trouble to return as I don't have transportation. Will not buy from this seller again.

I purchased this hood for a canon RF lens that had a 52mm filter ring. They DO NOT fit this lens. I stretched and pulled and stretched with all my strength, but it will not go around the end of this lens. Garbage.

THERE IS A REASON THIS PRODUCT IS SO CHEAP. THE END OF THE HOOD DOES'T HAVE ENOUGH MATERIAL TO KEEP ITS ROUND SHAPE. LOOKS DISTORTED. I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO WASTE MY TIME SENDING IT BACK FOR $10.00. IT DOESN'T RATE A 1 STAR!

Well it fitted fine. But it VIGNETTED every single picture regardless of the zoom setting. Worse than useless. A definite pass.

Per gli zoom grand'angolo ho sempre utilizzato paraluce retrattili in gomma, così si riesce a regolare la funzionalità del paraluce in relazione alla lunghezza focale, soprattutto con zoom che possono coprire focali dal 20 al 100 mm o anche maggiori. Nello specifico questo paraluce è effettivamente realizzato con una gomma molto leggera. Problemi non ne ho rilevati, scendendo sotto i 24 mm basta chiuderlo e non ci sono vignettature, rimane comunque un bordo di protezione dal sole, per avere una protezione superiore bisogna ricorrere a paraluce molto svasasti o con forme particolari, ma poi sono dolori con gli ingombri. Questo invece rimane "compatto". Il tappo copriobiettivo si riesce a togliere e mettere senza alcun problema, così il paraluce può rimanere sempre montato, il bordo in gomma protegge anche l'obiettivo da qualche urto involtario. Per il prezzo e la funzionalità offerta direi che sono ottimi.

Cumple la función muy bien de parasol y es ajustable, pero el material es de muy baja calidad y como es de goma es incomodo de llevar en la cámara, a veces puedes chocar con algo o con alguien y ya se te doblo el parasol. Es mejor uno de metal.

There are multiple uses for this type of product. I bought it for photos through glass as in airplane Windows and aquarium glass. All reflected light is blocked. I will get great service from this Product.

I cannot fault this at all. It does the job, easy to fit and seems very robust. Not expensive either! What more can I say.!
