Straightforward replacement for older models
The product is as described, a straightforward replacement of an earlier model that is no longer manufactured. Installation took just a few minutes. Works as expected, including interlinking with existing, older model units. Instruction/user manual easy to read and understand.

Seems to be quality but very expensive
I actually thought I was buying a pair! I think £48 is far too much but the unit does feel good quality. Far better than the original BRK 670. The unit is quite bulky though.Fitted straightforward to original back plate.Tested and linked ok.Found the same unit and think seller on Ebay for £44.Would I buy again? I'm not sure as £48 for one smoke alarm is mega expensive I think 🤔

Great direct swap out for our old Deta 1151 detectors
Our smoke detectors needed replaced as they just turned 10 years old. These were mains wired into the house when it was built (yes, 10 years ago).The original Deta detectors were discontinued many years ago, so was looking at hiring an electrician to replace all the detectors.But not with these bad boys.....they replaced the original Deta unit and slotted straight into the original Deta base (although it's now clear the Deta lumps were hearing aid beige).Saved a fair bit of cash and time using these units.

Easy replacement for Dicon 650MBX
Just the job and an easy fit to replace expired Dicon 650MBX which are no longer made. Fits same mains socket and just twists onto existing base plate.

Much easier to install than the old one
I got this as a replacement for an old Model 670MBX smoke alarm. The old one took some effort to twist off so I was worried about this replacement, which seems to be made by a different company.I wasn’t expecting this replacement to be much easier to install than the old one. Just pop the battery in, align the arrow on the alarm with the arrow on the old one’s base plate, and gently push until it clicks. Done. No twisting required!I’m not a handy person and it took me all of 5 minutes. They did a pretty good job of designing this replacement to be easier than the original.

Smoke alarm 10 Year battery life
Compact and easy to fit with 2 screws and battery should last 10 Years. Sounds loud.
