I have used Panasonic over past 15 years without any complaint. I love the quality that Panasonic provides.The only thing which was a issue was aluminum vessel which is not considered healthy.So, I Switched to Steel Vessel. I was very unsure about the cooker at first as there were not enough review and also the price was triple the usual rice cooker.but, Anyways I bought it.Pros:Quality is very Good.Steel Vessel is plus point.Easy to operate and cooks Rice, Millets, etc with ease.Cons:Price is at the higher side.Personally, If I will be using this steel rice cooker for 10-15 years its worth it.*Only Vessel is steel, Rice cooker is made up of aluminum.if you want to buy, Go Ahead :)

The cooker's great, really good quality. But that lid's flimsy, no steam vent, so it rattles and shakes when the steam escapes.

Quality is not up to the mark. Seems to be very light. Performance is also not good. A lot of rice is wasted as being sticked to bottom.

Stainless steel used for all inner and outer body makes it easy to keep it clean without the hardwater scaling. The 3 layer construction allows no deterioration of performance with stainless steel body as compared to aluminium. Aluminium vessel cannot be put in dishwasher whereas this SS vessel can be put in dishwasher. A big relief.
