Exactly like how I imagined it to be!

I’m a huge fan of these duffle bags. The bags stay up and don’t flop around. They also have a side pocket for shoes. I got this one monogrammed and gave it as a Christmas present.

This backpack is well-made, sturdy, and stylish. It has a decent number of pockets and compartments for storing accessories and smaller items. This backpack might not fit larger-sized laptops, but I had no issues placing my 14-inch laptop in it. The best use case for this backpack is for day use and light travel, as it is not that big and won't accommodate a large quantity of clothes and items. I think the straps are a bit thin for my liking, but I don't see any issue as long as I don't place heavy items inside. Great only for day travel.

Bag was great quality well made and lots of room. Returned only because I purchased 2 styles of same brand and only needed one. Both great bags!!

Looks nice, easy to wear, love the travel strap but the backback is hard to get into (narrow opening) and the strap broke on my second use. beware of cheap materials

I’m going to tell you that I am enthralled with my JOAN&DAVID, 21”, high-density, weekender duffle. It is a gorgeous deep black nylon color that is just perfect for heading out on a quick weekend, or even longer. Besides, there are so many things that have become my favorite items, that it is going to be a long list if I am to honor them all.Firstly, the bag itself is incredibly versatile, and so wonderful built for a weekend trip. I can’t get over how much I need the sport drop bottom. In fact, I don’t know if I will ever accept another bag without the sport drop bottom. I hate having my shoes, and dirty clothing, mixed in with the rest of my clothes. I love that my shoes are in the zippered compartment, safely tucked away. I can also place the items that need to be laundered in the bottom compartment as well.Secondly, the room that is inside the main compartment is incredibly vast. Plus it is made with water resistant materials. Not only do I have tons of room to pack my clothes, but there are also several zippered compartments that I can use for cosmetics, sunscreen, etc. The weekender bag also came with a detachable pouch that has 2 - 1.4 oz toiletry bottles. I can also decide whether or not I would like to bring it with me each trip.Thirdly, I can attach my bag to the the handle of my suitcase by using the “add a bag” feature on the backside. Before I do that though, I have zippered exterior pockets to secure my “must needs” in an easily accessible space. I cannot go any further without mentioning the Black Matte Signature Hardware. All of the zippers, and handles, are of top-notch quality that is a must have for a bag of this caliber.I am talking with friends about heading out for a 4 day weekend so that I can not only have a great time with friends, but I can test the performance of my new bag. I know that it will be a superior bag in how it holds so much inside, as well as the well-placed exterior pockets. Plus, there are the 2 different handles for carrying my weekender. One is hand-held, and the second one for carrying on my shoulder. I can remove the shoulder strap if I choose.As I’m packing my bag, I can already tell that this will be first-class bag in how it was designed, just how much it holds, the fabulous price that was available, and how it carries when loaded. My trip is going to be wonderful, and I cannot wait to show off my new weekender bag. I know that my weekend will be successful with my new weekender bag in tow.

I have high hopes for this bag, ahead of a busy season of summer travel. It is a great size for an overnight or a weekend jaunt and looks up to the task. There's tons of interior room with solid pockets on both sides, one with a mesh pocket. A separate smaller pouch is also included, attached to one of the zipper pull and snaps off if desired. There is an exterior pocket on one side, with a full zipper opening, designed with gussets to prevent items from being accidentally spilled when opened. A nylon strap on the opposite side allows the bag to sit securely over the handle of wheeled luggage. All pockets/pouches feature sturdy zippers.One of the best features of this bag is a very generous and separate shoe compartment. If not needed for shoes, this area greatly increases the storage capacity of the bag. Even with a pair (or two) of shoes, many smaller items can fit. Because of the rigid nature of the bottom of this compartment, I am unsure it would meet the requirements of an under-seat carrier. It is VERY rigid.This bag has both carry handles and a detachable shoulder strap for ease of use. I have read another reviewer's tale of handle woe, and while I hope that doesn't happen with me, I admit the handles do appear to be the weakest construction link and I will update my review if they fail to service. Overall, I am pleased with my choice.

Actually very happy with this bag! A good size for a weekender, not on the big side which I like. Also love the inclusion a toiletries bag. Handles are sturdy and comfortable. Solid quality bag!
