This clock is one of a family of digital display clocks using small LCD panels to represent Nixie tubes, which were popular in the 1960s with their subtle neon glow. The display is very authentic, looks just like the original cold-cathode tubes they represent. Alternative fonts can be selected by repeated pressing of a single button. This particular clock has a disadvantage if you do not have a smart phone! The time and date can ONLY be set using an app which has to be downloaded. No smart phone, the time and date cannot be changed. Other LCD clocks are available with a group of four buttons which allow the user to set the time and date independently of the internet. The clock is supplied ready to go, with the displays and glass tubes all in place. Other clocks of this type are packed with the LCDs and glass tubes in separate compartments to be assembled at home. This only takes a few minutes so not a major challenge. Consider this clock if you have a smart phone and are familiar with downloading and running apps. If you are not too familiar with such things, consider one of the alternatives with manual push buttons.

You can't access the chip, so I couldn't see if it was just poorly sat in the terminals, the glass spins but will not pull out. This product is plastered with obnoxious LED's which makes it suitable for a 12 year old on his gaming PC, it is not the product advertised.You can't adjust the clock at all without downloading an app on the phone, the terms of service are utterly disgusting and you can't use the app without accepting them.Rubbish product, DO NOT BUY.

It is a bit different but at £70 I'm not so sure it's worth it.

It wood be better if I cud set the alarm on the website
