On my first week of using it, I'm not sure why, but I've been putting off installing a shower filter for a long time. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the chlorine in the water was really starting to irritate my skin. During the cold season, hot showers would cause my skin to break out in red spot rashes. I finally decided to take the plunge and install this Kohler brand filter, mainly because of its compact size. So far, I'm really wishing I had done this sooner.The first shower, you immediately notice a difference in your hair, and getting out of the shower, your skin doesn't feel dried out. The instructions were pretty straightforward; all I needed was a medium-sized crescent wrench. The instructions recommended using plumber's tape, but I didn't have any, and there wasn't any when I removed my previous shower head. Despite that, I installed the filter, turned it on, and didn't notice any leaks.Some users have commented about depleted water pressure, but personally, I didn't notice any issues. The product claims that the filter lasts for 6 months, so I'll update this review later to see how that claim holds up.Do it. Order it. Invest in yourself !

After installing this filter, I could feel the change immediately—my hair is now much softer and smoother after every shower.The installation was super easy, and it attaches perfectly to my existing shower head. If you struggle with hard water, especially in places like Arizona, this filter is a game changer. Well worth the investment for the price!

It was easy to assemble and install, but I couldn’t figure out why the water wouldn’t come out. I assumed it was the filter. Thank goodness I saw the video review that pointed out to remove the small gray plug in the filter (bess you!). Nowhere in directions.

Definitely filters the water, which is nice. Cartridges are a bit expensive, but better than installing a whole house system. Looks good and good spray.

I love the water that comes out of this filter. It is nice to shower in water that has had the chlorine etc removed. I also love how easy it is to change a filter. HOWEVER, the water pressure has drastically reduced to an embarrassing level. Both the original and replacement filters lasted about a week and a half before it was a noticeable and severe reduction in pressure. There has to be something that Kohler can do to fix this. It’s just not a product that I would expect from them and I am not sure I can continue to pay $35 for half the water pressure that I should have.

Fitted, works well and easy to install, I'd definitely buy these in bulk.

This thing made a huge difference for our shower. We bought the original at Home Depot and had it in the shower for several months. We noticed skin issues coming back and white film starting to collect on the shower head again, so we bought this refill. It takes a bit for your skin to feel better, but no more white stuff on the shower head already.
