Excellent for laser printing!
After spending hours shopping online for Save the Date cards for our daughter's wedding, and wanting to design our own art and also not wanting to spend a fortune at this stage, I held my breath as we ordered these and we began to print. We had a full-color photo on front and a drawing & return address on the back. We ran a couple on our ink-jet at home, and they were "okay"— they looked home-made though. And I really didn't want that!We had a friend with a laser printer at his office who allowed us to print them there, and it made ALL the difference, as the heat from the laser really sets the color, and it gives the photo a bit of a shine, though the paper itself is a matte finish. The result was a very professional looking card.Because of the perforations, we found it best to run all the color copies on one side and then afterward run the backside rather than trying to run them front & back like you normally would. We only had two that had the perforations tear off out of 125 sheets, and that wasn't until the very end.

The concept is ok but the templates leave a lot to desire
Before buying these I suggest that you try creating your design using the Avery website design tools or by downloading the Avery templates. After you do this and are satisfied that you can get good results then come back and purchase them. These were designed to create picture postcards and custom designed graphic postcards. We used to use a lot of those before the internet. They are as thick as the pre-stamped postcards you can buy at the post office and they work well in my HP LaserJet printer. My problem is the software available to create the design. You can can created your postcard design using the Avery website but I have found this to be cumbersome and difficult to understand. It does a good job if you manage to make through to the end without giving up. They also have a lot of pre-designed cards that I think you can modify to meet your own needs. The other option is downloading the free Avery templates for word or other applications. My big disappointment is in trying to make the templates work correctly. I've decided that I will have to make my own for Word or find another application I can make a template with. The other option I a thinking about is buying card-stock paper and then trimming it to 4 x 6 after I print it. If the templates are not going to allow me to print right place on the Avery form I don't see the point in paying 50 times the price of plain card-stock for them.

Excellent value if you can deal with the stodgy software
If you design and write marketing communication deliverables, and your clients lack big print budgets, these postcard-sized templates can be a major asset. They are composed of a strong ("bright" is not quite accurate) white heavy card stock. (Sorry, they don't say the poundage.)Using single-sheet feed on my Brother TN-221 series laser printer I get excellent results, and my printer's duplexing feature enables me to print both sides of a card. Once the printed cards are "punched out" of their templates, their edges are nice and clean. Your clients' customers will never guess their humble provenance.Unwisely, Avery continues to provide third-rate software to support their first-rate hardware. Their Windows formatting application enables you to import images and specify placement of text and graphic elements, but only at the most primitive level. It is completely unsatisfactory for use by professionals. If only Corel could be induced to offer an Avery-specific design app based on their excellent Draw application.Using all the tricks in my quiver I can coax acceptable designs using the Avery app. The final product is what matters and my clients are more than pleased with the results. If you too can manage the stodgy software, I recommend these postcards. And in addition I can recommend their business card templates as well.

Color printing looks very good on this stock
This is a high-quality product. I use it to print invitations to special events, using an Epson WP-4530 printer. Color printing looks very good on this stock, and the micro perforations give no impression that the stock is perforated at all. Yet the cards (2 to a page) are easy to remove quickly from the letter-sized sheets within which the cards are embedded. These cards are perfectly suited to this purpose.

Lightweight and envelopes are NOT included!
This paper might make printouts that are postcard size but the paper is nowhere near postcard quality. The paper is thicker than regular paper but nowhere near the thickness of a postcard (almost like a light card stock). If you print on both sides, the paper is actually a bit see through. There is no way you would be able to print these off and put them in the mail like a regular postcard. That being said, I was aware that these may not be all that thick BUT I was OK with that since the description says that they come with envelopes ("Laser and ink jet postcard sheets with coordinating envelopes are perforated for easy separation"). To my dismay there were NO ENVELOPES in the box when I received them, so I had to order those separately. I reported the issue to Amazon so hopefully they will update the description soon.In the end I was able to print on both sides with no problems (the perforated parts did not fall apart in my laser on the first go or anything, the paper actually held up quite well). The perforations do rip cleanly as described. The template for word that I downloaded from Avery left something to be desired. It doesn't show you the edges of the postcard in the word document so it is hard to figure out if you are putting things to the edge or not. In the end I played around with it long enough that I finally got what I wanted.Overall I made do with what I got but I still would have liked the envelopes OR for the paper to be thicker so be sure to consider what you are using these for before purchasing!
