My dog has been scratching a sore he has on his ear. I've applied this twice and it's all healed up!

This product works very well. But you have to make sure to get it down into the ear canal, which is deep and complex, and then massage the ear at the base to make sure it gets all the way in. If you have a smaller dog, try to hold its head still so it doesn’t shake out all the medicine. Do one ear at a time and try to leave the dog’s head with the ear facing up to give the product time to get down into the ear canal. Apply liberally 2-3 times per day until product is exhausted. If the issue persists, get to the vet.

I noticed my pitbull puppy licking her paw and I could tell she was in pain. I spread her paw open underneath and it was stinky and gooey. My choice was clean the paw out until it heals and take her to the vet. I got some povidone iodine(the stuff they use to clean skin before surgery) which is not toxic to dogs at all. I diluted the povidone iodine in a bowl and soaked her paw for 5 mins in it. I then washed her paw with a very mild puppy oatmeal aloe soap(I use this for her baths as well) so the povidone iodine didn't stain her paw. After her paw was clean I took a cotton round and put the povigel on the cotton round and spread her paw open to apply the cotton round. I left it there for 10 mins and put a dog sock over her paw(socks for walking your dog in the winter, have velcro at the top to keep them on)so she couldn't lick it. After 10 min I took it off and did this everyday for 3 to 4 days and the puss wound cleared right up. Just make sure to clean the area first. I love this povigel, literally a life saver. Highly reccomend but make sure your dog doesn't lick the area until it dries. I hope this helps someone out there.
