Gorgeous lamp! Very easy to set up. I was worried it might look cheap in person but it does not! Looks very MCM, I love it.

I love this lamp
This lamp gives me all the light I need this winter.... It's beautiful. It is not as big as it may seem, diminutive but elegant. The brass is beautifully finished and the marble base very nice. I saw reviews suggesting it is tippy - so I place two large stones from the beach on it to keep it balanced. I don't mind. The remote allows me to put the power-switch within easy reach. It was easy to put together especially once I read the instructions, but really easy. Be careful not to drop the tiny screw -- but the seller includes a spare, which I found very thoughtful.

Fraction of the cost of designer ones and easy to assemble. Base is real stone and substantial in weight for the lamp. Love the look!

Well worth the price
I’m very happy with my purchase. I originally had a very similar lamp here that was far too low for my partner. I ordered this one hoping it would be tall enough for him to sit comfortably (he’s 6’5) and it is! I’ve seen some other reviews where people seem to be hoping that it’s taller but I can’t picture that honestly….. the couch in the picture is the west elm Eddy if you want to get an idea of the proportions!I have it behind a couch so tipping isn’t a concern. I think it would be fine standing alone but I wouldn’t trust it with young children that may try to pull themselves up on it.

It does NOT come with a bulb and remote charger
I love the lamp but one of the factors for choosing THIS lamp because it could be remotely controlled and came ready to use with a light bulb. However the way they packaged this lamp there’s NO WAY to park a bulb. I tried to get Amazon to just send the missing pieces but all they could do is send another entire lamp so I could get the missing pieces. But I had to return the rest. Annoying but OK I’m game. Well guess what?? This also doesn’t have the remote orbulb.They’ve probably been doing this to others who call to get the remote and bulb. I’m so annoyed. I’m going to try and contact the manufacturer but this is your warning.

Not balanced
Nice looking lamp except for the disturbing fact that it is very poorly balanced when assembled. The lamp leans heavily toward the arc-end, almost toppling over when standing, especially on a carpeted floor. Had to add a dumbell to the base in order to stabilize the thing from tipping over. Very poorly engineered.
