Mostly ok
I ordered two of these. I didn't open them right away because my next fishing trip was months away (and got canceled anyway). When I did finally open them to recharge my vests, one of the yellow dealies that, I guess, triggers the thing, was broken. Visibly so. I mean smashed. Well, I waited way too long to try to right this. My bad. Other than that, it all looks to be quality stuff. I would buy this again but I will be sure to open things up as soon as I got it to make sure that little plastic part was intact.

Defective/Broken in the box.
The CO2 cartridge looks ok. The collar that allows the vest to be automatically inflated upon water entry was broken. The package was not damaged. The collar was clearly damaged before being packaged. Someone, the manufacturer is my guess, put the broken item in the box and shipped it out. Made in China. Without the collar the vest is of no use to those of us that use these things. I don't believe this can be returned. Very disappointed.

Less expensive and just as good as OEM compressed air cylinders.
I was looking for a less expensive option to the OEM compressed air cylinder used in life vests. I believe I have found the solution with these cylinders. I purchased 3-4 in both 24 and 36 lbs and plan to keep them in my boat for replacements. We don't fall overboard that often, but the life vests inflate by accident often.
