First, I do not write many reviews it has to be something really game changing for me to make the time.If you are anything like me you have probably found light bulb shopping challenging and frustrating since the world of LED's, Lumens, white/blue, cold/warm light has entered into the world of home lighting.I stumbled on this bulb and was intrigued by the switch to adjust from warm to white/blue light.I first ordered the BR40 thinking bigger diameter and more lumens (brightness) would be great. But please know BR40's are not just bigger in diameter they are longer from the thread end to the flat part of the spot light. The BR40 hung out past my recessed can fixture and was too glaring on the eyes.I exchanged for a (2) pack of BR30 1400 Lumens. I just put one in my kitchen tonight (see photo.) This is at the 4000K setting. The photo shows the contrast of the overhead new bulb versus the warm yellow glow of the small lamp on the windowsill. I love that it is a clear, bright white light but not as harsh / unwelcoming as the 5000K (which this bulb will go up to when you adjust the setting.) The 5000K to me is a bit sterile, like an office environment not a kitchen.I love how clear the light is (photo shows various colors captured well.) Perfect for food prepping, washing dishes, etc. We live in the northeast and between the gray winter and early darkness by 4pm it leaves you starved for really clear, bright lighting esp in the kitchen.I also love that the BR30 is obviously the right size for my fixture since you can easily slip your hand in to the recessed can and adjust the switch to a different Kelvin setting (2700K-5000K.) NOTE: Wait until light has been off for several minutes so it is cool to the touch.I am looking forward to trying the 2nd bulb in this (2) pack in a recessed can that is dimmable.These bulbs remove the frustrating guess work of buying the right lumens, kelvin, etc....one and done, just adjust until you reach the desired lighting effect!NOTE: Before finding this bulb I had purchased the same brand "FEIT" Enhance Vivid Natural Light 85 Watt 1100 Lumens 3000K BR30 which was ok but I found the light slightly less than bright, a bit too warm and not fully illuminating my kitchen sink area as I had hoped. I am not displeased with the bulbs I will keep them and use in other applications...hallways, etc.Hope this review and the pictures are helpful, after all I did take the time! :-)

Bright and easy to plug in. Really nice you change the color. Does not get hot at all either.

These are great white Light to various shades yellow light and a slew of other shades and light frequency setting are available via a small "sliding switch" on the side of the bulb itself to select which type/frequency you prefer for each particular bulb.Best LED bulbs w the most features I've purchased so far! ALSO at very compatible prices as well! A GREAT PURCHASE AND PRODUCT! 5 stars!

Color rendering is pretty darn good for each color temperature, and the quality of the light itself doesn’t strain my eyes, nor anyone else’s in the house (even at 5,000K). They’re bright, don’t have any strange flickering feeling, and are totally silent. My kitchen is now a wonderful place to spend my time. I’ll be buying more for other fixtures in the house.

I've had these multi-mode light bulbs for about 2-3 months now, and I'm pleased with their performance so far. The various lighting modes have been a nice feature, offering flexibility for different ambiances and tasks. However, I must admit that I primarily stick to one mode, so I haven't fully explored the range of options.My main concern is energy efficiency, which I'm unsure about. I don't have any data to confirm whether these bulbs are saving me money or not. Time will tell, I suppose!In terms of durability, only time will truly tell. Two to three months in, they're still shining bright, but I'll reserve judgment until they've been in use for a year or more.Overall, I'm satisfied with these bulbs, and I appreciate the versatility they offer. If you're looking for a reliable, feature-rich lighting solution, these might be worth considering. Just keep in mind that energy efficiency and long-term durability remain to be seen.

Works as advertised and very nice to have the option of changing the light's "white color" from warm to cool. Works with a dimmer too. Well made and I would buy again.

These lights are perfect. I have specific preferences for certain rooms. I like my bathroom as bright as possible, bedroom a soft yellow light, and my kitchen bright white as well. These bulbs are perfect for customizing how you like your room lit up. I flicked the switch a few times to make sure I found exactly what I had in mind. I bought some for my parent's dining room as well. They have an...interesting chandelier in their dining room. It has one bulb pointing down towards the table, and six in a circle around the center bulb but they face up towards the ceiling. We were able to make the bulb that points to the table a lot softer and the six that face the ceiling super bright. Now we can see without having one bulb blind us while eating around the table. Super happy with the purchase.

I like the ability to change the light color value on the bulb, it's better than searching for the right tone, when you can just flick a switch. I use this over my kitchen sink shooting down from a soffit mounted can fixture, and it illuminates the area just like I wanted in pure white light.
