My son was very happy with this purchase to complete the building of his gaming computer.

Works perfect but as I was putting my graphics card in, the little plastic thingy that you pull to release the card from the slot came off. Doesn't cause any issues but it's kinda annoying not having the click feedback to know the card is seated

The motherboard stopped working suddenly, but the PSU is okay, I have tried everything including clearing the CMOs and removing the CMOS battery. The return window is closed so I can't return it to Amazon.I am disappointed and will never repurchase a Gigabyte product.

Let me give a bit of a back story. All my systems were running Intel CPUs until about 2 months ago. Mostly 12600ks or KFs. I was happy pairing these with 6800s and 7700XTs. 1440p beasts. My friend needed an upgrade for his golf simulator from his R5 3600. He bought a micro center bundle with the 9700x this MOBO and some RAM. He did not wait for me to come up and help him and he thought he ruined the PC because he put 2 tubes of thermal paste because of a picture that came with his Thermalright cooler. He panicked and bought a complete bundle again. He then said he would sell me his old platform and this bundle for $220 if I could clean it up and get it to work. It took some time but I did. Overall, this MOBO is good. My biggest complaint is the lack of USB ports since I am looking to start streaming. I need more to connect camera and lighting. Other than that this is a nice board with a built in I/O shield and 3 M.2 slots. It also has a 8 pin and 4 pin CPU connector so Overclocking and a CPU upgrade is very possible.

Excellent motherboard, getting good thermals on the VRM heatsinks, getting great speeds on the Gen5 NVME drive.I was able to enable PBO and put a -30 offset on the 7800x3d, and able to Overclock my ram to DDR5-6000 CL 28-36-36-36-30 and tuned subtimings as well.This motherboard has been stable for 7 months now, and I updated to latest Beta Bios F32b which adds support for Zen 5 Cpus like Ryzen 9 9900x, and Ryzen 7 9700x, improves ram compatibility and fixes Sinkclose Vulnerability

Worst motherboard I've ever owned, internet started having massive jitters about 1.5 months after purchasing. Then it completely failed. Awful avoid at all costs
