I’m always on the lookout for smart home technology to improve my house and this product is so convenient and reliable for security reasons. The sensor really has exceeded my expectations as installation was so easy and the simple instructions were so user friendly that set up only took a few minutes. It blends in so well with the house as it’s so compact. I’ve been using it for a few days now and it’s truly accurate with its motion sensor technology that it rarely offers false alarms. I currently have it in the entryway to the door so I can hear for postmen to put the dogs away and it’s been right every time. What’s been extremely helpful is the fact that I can customise it to different levels of sensitivities and my preferences through the app. The app gives me instant notifications if the motion trigger has gone off which provides a real time benefit so I can keep an eye on anyone approaching the house.I’ve had different motion sensors before because of the dogs but none of the other sensors I’ve tried have been like this one. I discovered that it even communicates and is compatible with my Alexa and google home device that I have in the kitchen.In short, it’s an impressive piece of tech that I would recommend to everyone as it’s high level of security reliability, it’s user friendly set up and communication with other devices, it’s been significant in my routine and has been undoubtedly helpful.

Electrician told me not fit for purpose. Tried to install in bathroom refunded via Amazon.

Works great... once you get it working. The instructions could be a lot clearer about the setup process. FYI for anyone struggling... there is a small button on the back of the unit that you need to not just press but hold down for a good 10 seconds to get the unit into pairing mode. You have to do this with the thing half installed. I.e. wired up to power but hanging out so you can get to the button

I bought this to replace a cheaper Zigbee version and what a difference, the installation was easy and the instructions clear, I found the videos most helpful with the online instructions via the QR code.The reaction of the sensor is instant, no delay which used to annoy me with the other version.In conclusion, the Spot Sensor is a must-have for anyone looking to upgrade their smart home security effortlessly. Its reliable performance, easy installation, and seamless integration make it a standout device.. I highly recommend it to fellow smart home enthusiasts! And I will certainly be kitting my smart home out with these. Thank you Spot!!

Seems this is another DOA unit. No LED on power on and no pairing.Started return process.

Excellent , We put this in our bathroom as the light and fan kept getting left on. Works perfectly and is instant. We did try a zigbee version but that didn’t work as the delay was annoying. Would highly recommend this sensor.

Really impressed with this device. It has very good detection range as I wanted it for a long hallway.Minor draw back - despite the title (maybe it will be amended by the time you read this) saying Alexa, Google Home and Siri - it does not integrate with Alexa (not tested Google Home or Siri but suspect that is a false statement also). I have Lepro lights that connect to smart life app and can be controlled by this by the app when these sensor is triggered. However I have Goovee lights I would have like controlled but this can only be done via Alexa - so hope they update this soon, but not a killer for me.Another issue is that help is limited: I found the SPOT website but it is not active, and you can't ask a meaningful question via Amazon sales page.

The build quality of this little sensor appears to be very good. However, I do have an issue with how close the live and neutral 240V mains wires are next to each other on the back of the device. Since the wires are not soldered or screwed down, there is always the potential for a wire to slip out and possibly cause a short.My biggest complaint is that it simply didn’t work for me. After resetting the device and reinstalling the software multiple times, nothing would get this device to attach to my network. Because of this, I would not recommend this device at all.
