Not fancy, but simple and very effective. The adapter is brilliant 👏🏾. I have 4 cars and 2 motorcycle. This thing doesn't get a break and is still going. Probably going to but a couple more.

Item is built fine -- will probably last a long time ... easy to use ... but when we put it on a load tester the most we ever got was 1.72 and then after it warmed up maybe in the mid to high 1.60's for AMPS ...

I do a lot of short drives so the battery isn't kept fully charged so I put a charger on it every day or so. My other charger (made by Schumacher) always tries to burn out whatever sulfates are present by charging to a high voltage before settling into maintenance mode. That's a good feature if you battery has been idle for a long time, like multiple weeks, or is deeply discharged, but my last battery failed in 11 months and I think the frequent desulfating caused it. This charger peaks at around 14 volts, which is what most alternators peak at and is safe for the battery. Also, it's solidly built so it probably will last longer than you will. By the way, the yellow light shows you how fast it is charging: it starts out bright and as the charging goes on it gets dimmer until it's just dark.

Beware this charger won't charge agm batteries like is stated in description, may be returning these. I purchased 2, neither one will charge them. Cheap China junk. Just buy one if possible American made.

It appears to work as described. The one problem that I have with it is the clamps to temporarily attach to the battery are so small that the only way I can open them up enough to clamp on is to disconnect the battery! They just barely fit onto the battery alone.
