I ordered these LAPSERO downlights to replace 4 X 12V halogen downlights (fitted in our main bathroom when it was refurbished about 20 years ago), so as to save some electricity. Fortunately, the 4 X LAMPSERO LED Ceiling Downlights fitted in the same sized holes in the ceiling, so fitting was extremely easy. These are extremely compact LED ceiling lights, compared to another brand we have fitted in the kitchen. I was also extremely impressed by the flexibility to set by toggle switch the light brightness to either 5 or 8W, and the light colour to any one of 4 different settings. These LAMPSERO downlights are exactly what I needed.All I need to decide now is whether I need to buy a spare unit now, just in case one ever fails (despite the longevity claimed for LED units, one of our kitchen units fitted when it was refurbished only 4 ½ years ago has already failed). I am keen to ensure that an isolated premature failure of one of these LAMPSERO units does not result in my finding that they have gone out of production, therefore I have to replace all 4 to keep them matched. I am used to keeping spare units to hand so that I can affect an immediate repair, should any individual lights fail. I have several spares for the 13 units in the kitchen & utility room, 1 already having failed.

I ordered these in the hopes of replacing some M11 fitting that we have in our kitchen. I was going to fit a new ceiling so that I could make it deeper and add GU10 fittings to it but when I saw these I hoped that they would save me the hassle, unfortunately these are pretty much the same depth as GU10 units so it looks like I will be building a new ceiling, lol.That said these are very nicely made with built in bulbs and are IP65 so can be used in a bathroom and as they are sealed units they are safe, the set I ordered came as a set of five units.Included in the set is a switchable unit which can be used to set the white tone to anything from warm white, through to daylight white and all the way up to cool white so they can be suited to any environment or decor.Although I haven't fitted these units, I have fitted enough in the past to be able to see that these are of a decent quality, the white facias are flush with even joints around the lens and the springs that hold them in place are robust and strong.Overall, these would be a great choice for a kitchen or bathroom where safety is a concern with standard electrical fittings, the white can be pre set to anything required and the wiring is simple thanks to the push fit connectors.Recommended.

IP65 white integral downlights with selectable colour and wattage. These lights are great; they are easy to install with the included push fit connector plug, fit most existing cut out holes, have four colour temperature to choose from 2700, 3000, 4000 or 6000k and you can even select the wattage for a duller or brighter light output. They look nice fitted and having a white bezel they blend into a white ceiling well

These were exactly what I needed for the false celling I ended up putting in. The lights are energy-efficient with two different wattages to choose from 5W and 8W, depending on the brightness of what you need. The recessed design adds a more cleaner look to the room with the aluiumium heat sink included. The connection block is brilliantly made so that single insulation wire is not exposed. you can daisy chain 1.5mm wire though with a terminal block to keep your cpc/ earth wire to be maintained. Plus i like that you can change the colour temperature from a cool white to a warm white with the switch included on the transformer block
