SouvNear Soapstone Sculpture of Mother Elephant with Baby Inside

Bought an identical one many years back, for a very dear friend..This is a very beautifully made piece. And it is a great price.I wonder if Running with pint in hand still has the one I gave her.

Came well packed, safe delivery, loved the feel of the stone, completely smooth, but heavy, nice intricate pattern, a puzzle to solve, how the baby was carved inside!

My brother bought me a similar elephant 20 years ago, my 2nd child accidentally broke it when he was 2, and my brother died 4 years ago. This is a replacement, and it is every bit as beautiful as the original. Very nicely made, excellent mainly recycled shredded paper packaging, and the delivery was really quick, far quicker than the estimate. It's quite heavy and despite looks it isn't incredibly delicate, so it doesn't terrify me so much as the original, which was much thinner around the body. I'm delighted with it :)

My mum actually gave me the money for this one as a birthday treat. It was bigger than I thought but gorgeous just the same and you can see the little elephant inside the mother elephant. Love it.

I ordered two of these elephants. They arrived on time and they are so beautiful. The artist is great they are heavy nad larger than I thought which is perfect.
