Call of Cthulhu: Arkham

Excellent product. It may be overwhelming for a new keeper, but if your group has several one shots under its belt, then this book could be a perfect fit. There are enough hooks to keep a group busy for years.

Finally Chaosium rereleased the much needed Call of Cthulhu Arkham supplement. This edition is loaded but is missing some important elements which I will mention later on.The 2023 edition is HB with 266 pages, two color double sided maps. One for the PCs with 1922 maps of Arkham on the front and Massachustts on the back. The other map is for the GM lisiting key locations on the front and a map of the surrounding area just outside the city on the back. A newspaper is also included created by the fine folks at HPLHS. This is an obvious work of love with key portraits and the various neighborhoods being printed in color.So why only four stars? No scenarios. Checkley Manor is shown on the map yet there is no scenario to connect it to. I hope the four original scenarios of Arkham are reproduced sometime in the future because they are, in my opinion, classics.

One of the best CoC idea books I've gotten my hands on. I've loved being able to give my players space to just move around in and for me to just look information up for Arkham for ideas!Hoping there will be a reprint/update of the University book!

A good resource for anyone who has an interest in the Cthulhu Mythos. However, the font is so small that it is difficult to use. On the other hand, the art is very good, and that inspires creativity.
