Avene Moisturising Creams

I use this on patches of dry skin so wanted a cream that was thicker and richer than normal moisturising cream but that also wouldn't feel heavy on my skin or cause acne which my skin is prone to when I put something on it that it doesn't like. Cicalfate cream is the only one I've found so far that ticks all these boxes and it absorbs easily too.

This was recommended to me by a Sk:n Clinic nurse. She said it had the highest concentration of retinaldehyde in the whole Avene range - great for anti-ageing - and an exfoliating enzyme x-pressin, which is equivalent to 6% glycolic acid. I use it every evening. I find the exfoliation gentle, my dry skin is still moisturised come the morning. I also don't feel the need for further exfoliation on my face and neck any more. Overall, after a few months of use, my skin is looking more toned and clean pored. I wouldn't be without it now.

it is ok, good quality. but just does not work for me..my skin is super dry and I think it makes it even drier..

Good moisturiser, nice product generally. However, I stopped using it because I was getting hormonal imbalance spots on my chin, and this seemed not to resolve these even though it has glycolic acid which is supposed to unblog pores by stimulating renewal.
