Love the Learning
Not having been raised in the pagan religions, I was only familiar with Christianity for most of my youth. Even though I’m still Christian, I have enjoyed learning about other religions through this 8-book set that is written in a simple and concise manner. Learning about the pagan sabbats has only helped me understand their beliefs and helped me realize just how the Christian holidays coincide and have similarities even if the explanation of the holidays is a bit different. Hopefully, others will read this set and realize that much of what is celebrated by pagans isn’t really that strange or different. Many of the songs that are known and sung by all now have a clearer meaning. Understanding the beliefs of others and accepting them as they are can only help to bring global peace. Start with this set to understand all the highlights of the pagan religion.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great Way to Prepare for the Sabbats
I have not read the whole collection yet. A week or two before each Sabbat I read the corresponding book in this collection. It's always interesting and sometimes humorous finding out about the basis for some of the practices and customs we use today. A great primer for the Sabbats.

All the sabbats are times we all should know. Each one is a time where the seasons show us that they are there.

This is entirely AI generated!
Clearly AI generated with content harvested from Wikipedia and basic google searches. Tons of mistakes like reusing Beltane content in the Litha book without even changing the sabbat name. This author doesn’t appear to exist, yet has released over 50 books on more topics than could be researched in a lifetime. Not acknowledging that a book is AI is fraudulent and I’d give 0 stars if I could.

Written by AI
These books are clearly “written” by AI. I wish that would’ve been made clear somewhere in the listing or the book itself. They have some good information, though it’s worded strangely, very repetitive, and mixed with some incorrect info. The books themselves are inexpensive but poor quality, and there are lots of errors. I think some folks would find this series helpful (it’s like reading a Google search, but you don’t have to look at a screen), but truly there are much better books out there on the 8 festivals.

Almost Perfect Collection of Books
This is a collection of books covering all the Wiccan Sabbats. For all of the Sabbats, the author shows you how to prepare both your outer and inner environments for the season. This means learning about the significance of each festival, learning and getting to know the godforms for each Sabbat, awesome arts and crafts to add to your celebration, charms, prayers, baths, etc. There is one small issue that I think needs addressing: the author repeats what is considered factual knowledge about Christmas coming from Yule. This is simply not true. The individual practices made there way into Christmas from paganism, but the celebration of Jesus' birth did not. Christians were observing Christmas as December 25th on the Julian Calendar (Jan 7th on Gregorian) at the beginning of the 3rd Century. By time this was observed, Sol Invictus did not exist and Saturnalia hadn't been celebrated for more than 100 years. When the Roman Catholic Church changed the calendar, they didn't change the date to match the true date of Christmas.Aside from that, it is awesome. This would be an awesome way for a new Wiccan to engage in learn about the festivals starting with the book of the Sabbat closest to the day they start reading. Further, there's information to step up the Sabbat celebrations of adept Witches. It would make a good addition to your library, like it is for me.
