Great replacement for damaged original charger

This charger acts as a spare at my "hotdesk" at work, and works equally as well as the OEM one...* Looks and feels the same - nice and lightweight but also robust* Good lead length* No noticeable overheating* No Dell BIOS complaints about power not being sufficient* So far it seems to be no more/ less powerful than OEM* Also fast-charges my Pixel 7 Pro :-)Overall, a great product. Thumbs-up!

I have an old Dell XPS with a regular charging port along side with a USB C chargeable port. The old charger has been put through the wringer and so needs replacing. It's a good option to have these two charging ports as this opens up the opportunity to use the charging cable for other options.This is a 65w charger that comes well packaged, with a fused 3 pin plug as well as a cable clip and cable tie on the USB C ends. The head also has a power indicator light which is useful to see if there's power coming from the plug, however, here I came into the first issue when unwrapping the plastic around the adaptor, the SN was pulled right off along with the plastic wrap. Oh well. Secondly, the three pin kettle plug going into the adaptor, was loose and snug, which gave me issues when I was trying to charge the laptop for use. This was fixed by putting a little varnish on the outer plastic 3 pin head so now it fits snug.Overally this is good value for money, if only the quality control issues were better.

I have other 65w chargers for my SurfacePro laptop but prefer to use this one when travelling just because the powerpack is a little different to the blocky traditional shape. The sleek smooth curves make it look like a more quality build and it charges super fast. Given the standardising across the EU for devices power you can't really go wrong with owning one of these.

This power adapter is excellent. I have a least 3 Dell machines and they all have different round interfaces on the end so the power supply from one won't work on the other. Thanks to the USB-C interface on this one I can now use this on all 3 of my laptops, which saves me a lot of money and I only have to carry one power adapter around with me, comfortable in the knowledge that this will work on any of them.This particular adapter looks just like the Original (OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer), with it's nice rounded off looks, with the only difference being the USB-C interface on this one. My wife has one of the newest Dell machines and they now come with a USB-C interface for the power as well so it looks like everyone is moving in that direction so this really is a great investment.If you have a different brand of laptop, then as long as it requires no more than 65W to charge it, and it has a USB-C interface then there is no reason why this should not work on your laptop either. Give it a try because this is so well priced that you could save yourself a fortune rather than wasting money on an original power adapter.

I use a Dell laptop on a daily basis and this charger looks identical to that and seems to work just as well. However I didn't get it for that as my wife also has a Lenovo laptop that requires the same power and so I thought I'd give this a try as she is forever forgetting to bring the charger back home from the office and then needs to borrow my Dell charger when she's working from home.Needless to say, this thing works fine with the Lenovo laptop as well so I'm very pleased with this as we now have a spare charger than can work across two laptops.Time will tell if this is as good as a genuine charger but as it's only £18 at the time of this review it's good value compared to the alternative.
