I use this in a J6 iRobot. I run the robot three times a week for around 90 minutes a cycle and it still has half a charge left. No issues charging. Would buy again.

We run our Roomba nightly, it takes about 2 hours to run a full cycle with this battery, compared to 5+ hours with the original. This battery is great that it can clean our entire first floor without a charging pause, cutting total cleaning time to less than half, HOWEVER, after only 5 months of use, the Roomba says the battery cannot be detected and is dead. This is unacceptable and I would recommend looking elsewhere for a better long term solution. Product says it has a 24 month warranty, but there is no one to contact about this issue. Disappointing.

battery fit perfect last for hours

This is a defective item. I bought less than two months ago and only after 6 to 8 weeks it stopped working. The vacuum will not start as it says the battery is undetectable.

These batteries are used in robots for the International Aerial Robotics Competition (IARC) MISSION 7 and also used for floor vacuuming. The regular batteries that come with these units are half the size of the unit being reviewed. There is space for this battery (it fully fills the battery area in the robot) whereas the original OEM battery and many replacements only use about 50% of the space provided for a battery. As a result, the robots using these larger, higher capacity batteries can function for extended periods without recharging. In the IARC, this represents a significant increase in efficiency as multiple robots are in use simultaneously and must be kept in operation throughout several mission runs. For home use, this means that instead of having to return to the charger after 30 minutes of vacuuming, it can finish the job entirely without having to return to the charger to recharge. Further, if the Roomba gets lost or is having trouble docking, a low battery can result in the robot becoming stranded, giving up, and losing communications. The extra onboard energy affords the robot more time to find its dock and recharge. This is a vast improvement over the OEM half-sized battery!

The media could not be loaded. This battery is physically bigger than the original one, but it fits perfectly and was super easy to install. The Roomba works so much better now! This new battery lasts so much longer than the original. This is a good price for a product that will improve the performance of your favorite little robot.
