Work saved
These work incredibly well, I thought they might slip but not a bit

Better then I expected
While probably not an OSHA approved lifting clamp. This is just what I needed and is working fine for me. I’ve also abused it a bit and it’s lifted clearly more than it’s rated for.

For the price these are great
I moved about 20 concrete curbs, 6 feet by 5” at base and 4” at top x 19” high, about 450 pounds each with no issues. Not bad for 1/4 the price of some others.

It's okay
It wouldn't let me upload the video I took for my review of it in use with stone. My husband picked up a small piece of concrete, and it didn't take much wiggling for it to slip loose out of it. The pads are also very stiff, which I don't think helps. The finish work on it isn't very nice, as pictured. It is also very heavy, which doesn't seem too helpful for picking up heavy things.

Strong - Well Made & Designed of Solid Heat Treated Alloy Steel Material-Opens From 1.50" to 7.00"+
Ordered this Vertical Heavy Duty Lifting Clamps - 770 LB WLL - W/Thick Urethane Jaws - Forged Solid Alloy Steel Material for mainly use around my trenching machine shop and around the farm use. We recently had an awful storm with very high winds & major flooding. This storm made national news. Our local river bridges were destroyed and many homes a total loss and thousands of downed tree's, all close by our home/property. Recently while shopping online for some heavy pulling chains and towing/pulling ropes for my tractor & trenching machine to help clean up with our local volunteer debris removal program, I saw this heavy duty lifting clamp and started reading about how it's made and designed, along with how it actually works. After understand how it operates and how well it's made of solid heat treated forged alloy steel, I ordered it. This is a very heavy duty lifting/carrying/moving tool. Very thick solid steel arms and jaws. This is a heavier commercial/industrial grade designed tool. It has a 770 LB lift rating, but I have no doubts it will lift twice that amount. It came with heavy duty bolts and lifting chain and ready to use right out of the box. I like the thick tough Urethane Jaws where it actually grabs the item and picks it up. This devise works great on my tractor as I use it with my heavy duty 3 point hitch boom pole attached on my tractor hook up. I like the good thick yellow industrial paint on it and know it will help keep it from rusting from being out in the weather. I've used it already to pick up concrete traffic control pillars and it will do the job. It's designed that the heavier the item, the tighter it holds onto the item picking it up and does not let go. I've also used it to grab heavy tree limbs and drag them to the debris pick up removal sites. I've picked up many large river stones and removed them from roads to make them passible for vehicles. I've also learned that when I pick up something smooth like a sliding glass door, I place (2) solid flexible rubber spreaders (used with paint & body fillers to spread putty) and tape them into the jaws. That will work like a charm picking up anything slick or smooth finish. This very handy tool has done wonders for me already during this clean up effort in our community and to me it's been well worth the price. I gladly give it (5) stars

Heavy duty
I was not expecting it to be as heavy as it is. It's a beast. The grips on the end do a good job holding on to a smooth surface. It has an incredibly strong grip as the heavier the object is, the tighter the grip. It can be a challenge to get it disengaged because you have to take the weight off of it before it will let go. But this is a really solid gripper.

Pads on the clamp are too hard.
Because the pads on the clamp are too hard they don't grab well on most materials. We had to use strips of rubber in between the clamp pads and the stones we were lifting to make it work. The pads should be made of a material like car tires, soft and sticky
