Excellent
Very simple and a great solution. Impressively loud on alarm. Does not have a zero for the code which could be useful.

Could be a good alarm with the correct fittings
As others have pointed out the fixings are pathetic and can be easily defeated by an intruder. If you buy this alarm purchase extra fittings to secure it. The alarm trigger time is a bit too long (30 secs) it would be better if it was ten seconds shorter so if you have extra long wood screws there's no opportunity for anyone to remove them quick enough. In future i will add a jubille clip or something like that for added piece of mind. Other than that nice and loud and very easy to program a code. It also has a 4.5V DC input so it can be mains powered.

Won't fit and secured by a hook!
Can't work out what the point is for an alarm that you can 't actually screw onto the frame or door and it just "hooks" onto a protruding screw. That means an intruder can remove it in no time, whip out the batteries or chuck it away. Also, I bought it to fit onto a double glazed window but It will not fit because of the curvature of the frame. It will not sit flush with the actual opening window which is recessed. Only suitable for flush fitting doors or windows I.e. not upvc. Will have to put it in the shed but still I can't screw it onto the door. Pointless really.

loud
I have one myself and bought this as a gift which is yet to be opened. There easy to fit a wooden door is best and quite loud enough to put of the casual thief.I set mine before I go to bed so if I am broken into by the front door will hopefully scare of any thief and give me a few minutes warning .One tip its easy to remove so I have screwed a screw over the alarm making it impossible to remove quickly by an intruder. Its not a full alarm system but for a door or window might just scare of an intruder ,so very happy with purchase and service

Simply the best system
Simply the best system which has an easy keypad to use. Loud siren and positive keying in of set code. Buttons do not wear out like the competing systems. Have had these in the past and I regret using different ones from the DIY chain stores. Very economic on batteries which seen to last for up to 12 months or more. Easy to install but like every alarm they do need an additional measure to prevent being taken off the door. I screw a small piece of aluminium angle over the top to make it secure and I will only need to take it off in a years time to replace the batteries. Would recommend this product.

Good Idea
Really easy to fit and programming is simple. The hardest part is remembering to de-activate them before I open the doors. I use them on my inside doors as I have a locked door on my porch and these provide me with that little bit more security.
