Replacement for Onn Android TV Box Remote Control with Voice Function

I used this for my watch onn chromecast-style device, plugged into an older tv, to replace a missing remote. The price point is over half of what I paid for the original device, which is upsetting. It does the job, but I constantly get pop ups saying to “update my remote”, and when I try to, the update fails immediately. There’s also some functions that just don’t work on this remote, like syncing up the power button to turn on both the chrome cast and tv at once. I’ve had to go back to using the old tv remote to get the tv on, then using this one to turn the chrome cast on. Same issue with volume controls, they used to be synced up and are now separate.

Dog ate the remote that came with the box. I’ve tried everything to get it to pair but it simply will not. Cost half as much as the entire device which included a remote. Will be returning.
